During Hurricane Milton the wonderful people who run this spot let people camp for free. Showers were good and hot and the security/service was wonderful. They could have made a ton of money but chose to be humanitarians instead. Thank you.

We were fleeing Hurricane Milton. Spence Field Campground offered three free days to Florida residents. They arranged free meals, play areas, and assisted in any way they could. I am so appreciative for the assistance. They use the campground for events such as auto shows. I highly recommend supporting them

We fled central florida during Hurricane milton. We were relieved to find a safe place to park for three days with 30Amp, water, and a dump station. The staff was welcoming and kind. We are eternally grateful 🙏 🥲

Thank you so much to all the people of Moultrie, but especially to the staff at Spence Field Campgrounds. We're here from Florida because of Hurricane Milton, and have been warmly welcomed, thoughtfully checked up on, and even invited to dinner in this tough time. This terrible situation most Floridians find themselves in has been met with nothing but the purest of Southern hospitality from the kind and generous people here.

Spence Field is well maintained and clean. Went to the fall swap meet. Reasonably priced. Hotels are extremely high priced this weekend.
