Incredible bike trails, wow! I'm so impressed with the place. Thanks for having some pedal up options, and the new blue climb trail (name TBD) and beam me up Scotty blue flow trail down (rides more like a light blue/dark green especially in comparison to everything in the actual bike park rating scale) are amazing! Kuddos to the trail builders and the business, keep it up 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The Spirit Mountain Recreation Area is a premier location for recreation in the Twin Ports area. Amenities consist of Villas, full-service campground (on Sky Line), lift access for gravity downhill trails, XC, and (now) adaptive mountain bike trails. The Rec area also has miles of hiking trails (SHT, spur and main), an adventure center and is an excellent venue for hosting family reunions and weddings and grabbing a beer and food from the Riverside Bar and Grill!!
One of the best ski/snowboarding places I have been. Runs are nice and long also beautiful!
There are a lot better places to go for snowboarding and skiing. Not worth the price. I've had a board stolen right off the rack while using the bathroom and have heard many complaints of people getting their boards and gear stolen as well. There’s no cameras outside so there’s not much they can do about it. Not all, but most employees are pretty helpless, rude, and useless. The whole place could use a good amount of renovating, not to mention the bathrooms are nasty. Take your money elsewhere for a better experience.
I'm 68 years old and It's been 20 years since I've last skied and I've never skied on the newly designed skis so it was recommended to me that I take lessons something I've never done. I just want to thank David Jones and Laura Witrak who have been my teachers at Spirit Mt in Duluth, MN for their strong commitment to teaching people to ski properly and their obvious passion for the sport. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. I'm able to safely truly enjoy myself on the slopes with my grandson who snowboards and has also taken lessons at Spirit Mt. ❤️
