Such an incredible place and beautiful views. Plan for it to be colder then the weather forecast and you will sun burn very easily. Flushing toilets but no sink and I never saw a water spigot. You need high clearance the property is a little tricky to navigate. And the property is so beautiful definitely worth a trip.

Splitrock is amazing! Hiking trails, farm animals, flush toilets & hot showers (when you book camping), observatory deck, yoga classes, and lots of cool travelers/campers coming through. The owners are kind and passionate about tending to the property and making it as awesome as possible. Highly recommend checking it out.

Well managed outdoor retreat. Would improve signage slightly to give us an idea about how to redirect to our site AND would appreciate emergency evacuation information. (I'm an adventurous one, but since their are a few sites in this spacious acerage I think maybe just a general idea would be welcome. Facilities were clean (though the water jugs were full out our site and of questionable potability, and I'm unsure of how often the cots are cleaned, I didn't find anything alarming, just loads of ants) The area was maintained well enough. Views were great and hosts were responsive enough. Good way to camp for a different experience than backcountry camping OR traditional campground camping)

***Just because you reserved and paid for a spot doesn’t mean a guaranteed stay.*** After booking a tent, paying, packing, and driving out there. We were told upon arrival that the campsite we booked had also been booked by the another party (that pulled in after us) and that there was no other accommodations for us to stay. Due to the double booking, we unfortunately had to drive back home and wait for a refund.
