Love this place! The manager Melissa is a shining star of customer service! Josh and Michelle are front desk were great! It was a hot weekend and although the pool is under construction they went out of their way to provide slip and slides and squirt guns for the kids! Plus made pancakes for everyone! What a great family park. Very clean and very friendly. Highly recommended!
The ladies at check-in saw our little dog in the truck and gave us a welcome bag for him! It had a dog treat and poop bag in it. Just a little extra effort that made us feel welcome. We only stayed one night & didn’t use any facilities, but our campsite was long and level so we could stay hooked up 👍🏼 A very good night on the road 😊
We were looking for a place to stay on our road trip at the last minute and found this place. It looked nice and we called to book a tent site, while we thought it was pretty pricey at $58, we went for it. We got there after the front office had closed down, but had no way to gain access to the bathroom, because we were never given the code over the phone or in email. After asking a fellow camper for the code, we found they had the same problem we had. After that had been sorted out we set up camp, ready to settle in for the night, and right as we are about to fall asleep, a large train goes right by us, right on the other side of the fence we are next to. We felt the rattle from the train, and the horn was obnoxiously loud. We left right after that. If you are staying in a tent campsite I wouldn’t recommend this KOA.
Ended up here as the site we had booked was evacuated due to a fire. Pros- available sites, decent sized, relatively tidy. Cons: $$$$$, bathroom maintenance was lacking (no TP, toilets destroyed like a high school bathroom), pool was out of order, train runs right by the campground. Wouldn’t be my first choice to stay here again
This KOA has all the amenities you come to expect from a KOA. While dated in places, it is very clean and taken care of. The staff was very pleasant, even when I came up with an issue. Check-in was super quick, and our spot was easy to find. The restrooms weren't too far of a walk. We had fun at the pool and playing with the provided basketballs and volleyball. You could even play pickleball there. It is next to a train track, and the train blows its horn every time it goes past throughout the night. If you are in a tent, you are going to hear it, unfortunately. If you are in a camper then this is the place for you in the Spokane Valley area. Quick drive to I90 and other services.
