Very outdated. Things held together by duct tape and glue. Very unprofessional staff who are rude and not personable. The location is gorgeous, as it is directly on Lake Champlain, but also right on a relatively busy road. Dirty beds, windows and appliances. I would NOT recommend staying here to a rat.
Owners are rude and seem like drug addicts. Dirty. Don’t waste your money here.
Cottages are cozy,set up very well everything u need is here! Just dont expect a tv! R&R without any hustle n bustle owners are awesome!!! Feel like ive known them for yrs!!! Pet friendly grounds also with a pool! Quite the little community! With a beautiful view of the mtns behind Lake Champlain directly accross the street! I will def be back!!!
This is our fourth year at Sportsman and we continue to enjoy our time there. The owners welcomed us and our family and friends. Our site is awesome, reasonably priced, the pool is so great on hot days and our fellow campers are friendly and fun! Met some great folks who stayed in the cabins too!!! The campground is on the lake and the public boat launch is within .5 miles from the campground entrance. We couldn’t be happier with our experience to date, and have several new friends who have joined us!!! So great to pull in to a campground FULL of happy campers waving as we enter. Looking forward to many more years of fun, boating and friends. Thanks Dave, Penny, (And chief of security-Diz!😉).
My in-laws have had a camp here for many many years. It’s a great location central to Burlington, lake placid and Lake George. Beautiful pool with gorgeous views. Owners are like family can’t imagine going anywhere else and getting treated so well!! Love you guys !!
