I almost don't want to share how great this place is to stop for a night. It's like being on another planet. The amount of stars you can see is amazing. You really feel like you're all alone out here. The campsites are awesome, each one has a covered picnic table, and firepit. Bring toilet paper if you want to use the outhouse.

Stayed 5 nights with our 42' fifth wheel. Plenty of room, back-in and pull through available. Great lake views!

We arrived in the dark with our 32 Ft Fifth Wheel. Turnoff to the campground was clearly marked. Wasn’t too hard to navigate and set up in the dark. Plenty of available camping spots..arrived on a Thursday night. Was a bit breezy but it felt nice. Slept with the windows open so we didn’t need to run the generator. Woke up to still waters and a beautiful sunrise. Wish we were closer to the water, but that’s what we get for arriving after dark. The lake Is beautiful! Right off the highway so you hear and see some traffic. In the daylight, we found some downfalls. It felt like we were in a spider’s den with all the orb-weaver spiders on the picnic table, hanging from the Ramada and in all the bushes clear down to the dock. Water was clear there early but by midday algae and a film along the surface of the water made it unpleasant to get in. And it got hot out! We came in June. Lots of bugs, dragonflies, nymphs, gnats, flies, and lizards galore..if you like that sort of thing. Overall it was a beautiful place to stay..the scenery, campsites and seclusion made it a good spot.

Lake view. On a slope, so no level places to park but can dig to get level. 5G internet. Big Hor1n sheep crossing, so there are sightings as they cross the road from hills to the water. Covered picnic tables and sites about 50' apart. Vault toilets and dumpster trash are available. Road noise. One centrally located water spigot. Boat ramp here. Barren desert scrub. Watch out for fire ants.

We love this camping area. The lake is beautiful and we're just a few miles from home. The most beautiful views you can imagine. Highly recommended. Come visit our Walker Lake this season, you won't be disappointed. The waters smooth as glass today. Thankfully the water continues to rise with the abundance of winter snow in surrounding areas. A sweet bonus is that we're also just a couple miles from one of our newest restaurants in the area, Big Horn Crossing. Amazing food and highly recommended as well.
