We stayed at site 3 for 2 nights . The host was informative and helpful. Toilets are flushable and were kept really clean. The campground is very close to the lake. My only complaint is there is no privacy. Most of the campsites seem to be close to each other.

Great Campsite (#049) - Beautiful Lake views but Beware of Bears! We stayed at Campsite #049, which was quite good overall, though a canopy is essential since there's no natural shade. The proximity to restrooms and a drinking water tap was very convenient, and there's a garbage disposal bin right across from the site. The campground host was very attentive and friendly, keeping the restrooms clean regularly and being available at least once a day during our stay. However, the drinking water quality wasn't great; it looked pale yellow, so we brought our own drinking water and only used the campsite water for washing dishes. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and Bass Lake is absolutely stunning. There are many beautiful spots along the shore perfect for spending the day picnicking and enjoying the scenery. The lake definitely deserves a 5-star rating for its beauty. **BUT BEAR ALERT ‼️** A bear cub has been wandering around the campground, looking for food. We encountered the cub on our check-out day while packing up. It wasn’t aggressive but it is crucial to stay alert. Bears remember spots where they’ve found food and are likely to return (Campsite #049) This bear cub came out of the bushes sniffing around and managed to grab a bread packet, an oil bottle, and some snacks we had out for preparing breakfast. Future campers, please keep all food items away from your camping tent—store them in the bear box or your car. Make sure to clean up thoroughly after cooking and avoid leaving any food smells lingering. Despite the bear encounter, we had a great time and would recommend this campground, especially for the beautiful Bass Lake. Just remember to stay bear-aware to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay! Happy Camping :)

Camping was so fun here! We stayed here Friday-Sunday at campsite 014. Restrooms were constantly being cleaned. Our host, Ray, was checking up on us maybe 2-3x per day. He was so sweet, very informative and even gave our kids ice cream since it was a hot weekend. The lake was close by to our campsite. We are definitely coming back again!! :)

We came during a busy Memorial Day weekend but thankfully everyone was very well-behaved. We stayed at camp sites 12 and 13, the latter with a nice view of the lake. There is space to park two cars and then spillover parking about 50 yards away towards camp site 15. We didn’t have the bear-proof storage containers present on other sites; it wasn’t a problem for us but it’s something to keep in mind. Ray was pleasant to interact with and we really appreciated how he kept the bathrooms clean and stocked all weekend.
