I am an unmarried college student who has been on the Dean's list my entire college career, and my major is social work. I bought a camper for the last semester of college for economics reasons. I started renting a lot in Oct from spring creek campground, and left before my lease was up in Feb. Not only was I constantly harassed by the male property manager about my boyfriend visiting (who has his own apartment 3 miles away) and told that I was a liar by management due to their inability to communicate. The rules state that a person can have visitors up to 10pm. They wanted my boyfriend to do a background check and we tried but they never are in the office, nor respond to text messages. Regardless of the invasion into my personal life I never had running water, and paying $740 monthly. I never paid rent late. Their water lines are not done properly even when I had a heated water hose..I would not recommend this place unless you really like getting ripped off and harassed. Oh and the few times I was actually able to catch them in the office both the manager and his wife reeked of Marijuana. I don't appreciate being called a liar because they thought my boyfriend was living with me..because he was not. He has his own place but we were willing to agree to his background check, but it is crazy that I even had to deal with this situation. I am very grateful that it happened though because I now have found the perfect long term lot where my boyfriend can visit whenever he wants, it's cheaper, and I actually have running water..so thanks for being you..it helped me get to a better place. Oh and they also said that there were complaints about us arguing, but it was never brought up until I complained about not having access to water on my lot..the manager is rude, entitled, and has poor communication skills and that is me being polite.
Location is just outside Clarksville but it’s quiet with a pretty stream and mature trees. Didn’t see the owners but they were helpful on the phone. We had a fairly large pull through site. The best sites have no sewer but there’s a dump station. Everything looks well maintained and washrooms were clean. Be aware most people here are long term and working so early morning traffic. Only issue was lack of privacy in the showers. Better experience than I was expecting and we stayed 3 nights to see Nashville.
Spring Creek Campground in Clarksville TN is a rare golden nugget campground! The grounds are beautiful. It's conveniently right off the highway, yet nestled in a cozy wooded area like you a miles from the city. Great stay!
I went to visit friends that were camping there. Upon arrival no one was available at the office for questions. Driving past the office there was a shed With mowers setting outside, many people smoking in and outside of the shed. A very heave smell of Marijuana, and loud music. After our visit, we stopped on our way out of the campground to use the restroom. The restrooms also carried a heavy smell of marijuana. I had hoped to tell other military families about this campground and its conveniences, but I would not recommend. It is not professional to have the caretakers smoking close to the entrance, let alone safe for children to see as a safe place.
BEWARE!! We booked a pull-through site on 10/15 for arrival on 10/21. We arrive and someone else is in our site. They tell us: Lie #1. The told us the state won't allow them to put a 50 amp rig on a 30 amp site, even though we have the converter and do it all the time. They said we can have a choice of a tiny site that can't accommodate our size and is under power lines or get a refund. Lie #2: When we look, the rig in our booked site is converting from 50 to 30. They tell us that person lied to them about being 50 amp. Lie #3: They said that we booked the site yesterday. I have the confirmation (and it states it on their refund) that we booked 6 days ago. Lie #4: The site is still showing available in their system! THEY ARE DOUBLE BOOKING SITES! I didn't use profanity or yell; I just confronted them with their lies. Instead of apologizing, she just kept calling me "sweatheart" and stating that "she doesn't have to take this." They must do this at lot! She seemed very used to angry customers!
