The campground offers great access to the river, making it ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Be prepared for a drive on some dirt roads to reach the campsite. The acoustics of the canyon can cause echoes, so light sleepers with potentially noisy neighbors should be aware.

Services: Springer Gulch offers access to campfires and has primitive vault toilets. Users recommend bringing Lysol to-go spray and antibacterial due to the nature of vault restrooms, which are noted to have an odor. Hand sanitizer is provided after using the restrooms. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host at $10 (cash) per bundle. There is a $10 (cash) entry fee per vehicle. There is no cell reception, so downloading necessary content beforehand is advised.

Features: A primary feature of Springer Gulch is its excellent access to the river for fishing. The entire Eleven Mile Canyon is considered a significant attraction. The campground offers a quiet and secluded atmosphere, promoting an "unplugged" experience. Campsites vary in size and terrain; while some, like site 6, can accommodate a car tent and a van, others may be sloped or not well-suited for traditional tents. Sites 9 and higher are noted to be closer together and potentially more crowded. The camp host is reported to be friendly. Bringing your own firewood is recommended as the firewood sold on-site is considered pricey, and it's a long drive if you forget.

Promotional Information: There is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. The fees mentioned are a $10 (cash) entry fee per vehicle and $10 (cash) per bundle of firewood from the camp host. For information on campsite reservation fees and availability, it is recommended to contact the managing authority (likely a local or state parks service) or check relevant online booking platforms for campgrounds in the Eleven Mile Canyon area.

Nice campsite and access to camp fires. The restrooms are vaults, so bring little lysol to-go spray and antibacterial. No cell reception, so download your stuff ahead of time (music/movies). Everything echoes like crazy, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper and/or have loud neighbors lol. It has great access to the river for fishing, and really, the whole canyon is amazing, a real hidden gem. We would have stayed at other camp sites too as well, now that we got a good look at them. Firewood is $10 (cash) per bundle from the camp host. Entry fee is $10 (cash) also per car. Very quiet, secluded, very unplugged to the internet, it's good for you to touch grass, cheers lol.

Pretty campsite if you don't mind driving on some dirt roads to get up here. The canyon itself is gorgeous and has some great fishing spots nearby. We lucked out and got a spot at site 6 because of someone else cancelling last minute. Our site backed up onto a hill; we had a car tent and van in our party and both fit on the site! I don't think there was any room for even a small tent unless you wanted to pitch it on a sloped area though. The camp host was friendly. Be prepared to bring firewood in with you because it's a long drive if you forget and the stuff they sell is pricey. The other campers were relatively respectful of quiet hours, had a few people talking after 10 but no loud music or anything. Our site was pretty spaced out from the others but if you're on the other side (sites 9 and higher) it gets a bit crowded, so you may get more noise. The camp had primitive vault toilets but WOW they stunk. That's the only reason for the four stars honestly. I have a pretty strong stomach but gagged/had to cover my nose with my t shirt while using. They did have hand sanitizer to use after which was nice though. Would recommend this site if you're camping in/on top of your car or doing a small camper/van setup, but at least half the sites seemed difficult to put a tent on.

Absolutely beautiful place to go camping,fishing,hiki,off-roading, or just to get away from all the people. It's just miles and miles of riverside driving, picnicking and camping. Just remember to bring $7 cash to get in (even if you've paid for camping reservations).
