Managed by the Corps of Engineers, this campground provides a mix of modern amenities and natural beauty, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. With 50 amp and water hook-ups available at each site, Springfield Campground offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.

  • Waterfront Access: Many sites offer direct access to the lake, perfect for swimming, boating, or simply enjoying the view.
  • Amenities: The campground features a dump station and clean bathhouses. Each site includes a picnic table, grill, fire pit, and lantern hook, making it easy to enjoy meals and gather around the campfire.

This is a typical Corp of Engineers campground. 50 amp and water on the sites, no sewer. Dump station and bath houses available. Many of the trees were taken down a few years ago so not all sites are shaded. Which is good if you like stargazing, but not good if you like shade. Overall it is a nice campground with many sites on the water. It is all about the lake afterall. You won't be amazed, but you shouldn't be disappointed either.

Very peaceful and well maintained campground! We stayed in site #52. Back-in site, level sand/small gravel, water and electric hook-ups. Facing the lake, with stairs to access the shore. Picnic table, grill, lantern hook, and fire pit. Foliage in between side sites provides privacy. The business side of RV faces a small playground with swings. Lots of Pull through and buddy sites here. Watercraft frequently seen in lake, along with swimming at individual sites. Most sites waterfront. Friendly staff greeted us at guard gate when we arrived, gave us a map with directions to our site. Saw one small, clean bathroom, by designated swim area and bigger playground. CG Also provided life vests, hanging at swimming area. Big dumpsters at entrance/exit. Also a dump station by entrance. Lots of local shopping and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this campground. Only thing that would make it better would be FHU!

Beautiful view from all sites. We were disappointed that the water had been lowered. Only tip to offer is sprinkle some sort of ant deterrent around every thing that touches ground leading into camper. We've been fortunate to never get ants at any other campground, but this one got us. We will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed camping here. It was peaceful and clean. The only thing I wish was that there was a place to put your bag at the bath house but I will be coming back here again.

Very nice and quiet campground. Large sites. We were at site 74, beautiful views. Steps leading down into the water. The bathrooms are dated, but clean! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the ants! They we all over our camper! Would stay there again, but bring something to keep the ants at bay..!
