I recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel has a modern feel despite its age, and the level of cleanliness was impressive. The front desk was well-staffed with two employees (a rarity these days), which made check-in smooth and efficient. Breakfast was exactly what you'd expect—simple but sufficient. I grabbed a muffin and coffee to go, and both were fine. However, the noise level in the morning was a major issue. Starting at 9 AM, the housekeeping staff began slamming doors and using equipment like mops and vacuums, making it impossible to get any additional rest. (Checkout is at 12) The way the rooms are arranged—clusters of four doors together—only exacerbated the issue. Unfortunately, the three rooms next to mine had early checkouts, so their doors were repeatedly slammed as housekeeping worked. The primary purpose of a hotel is to provide a clean, quiet place to sleep, and while the cleanliness met expectations, the noise at such an early hour made restful sleep impossible. If you're someone who likes to sleep in or needs peace during the morning hours, this might not be the best choice. Rating: 4/5 Clean and modern with a great value but undermined by early morning noise.
The only issue I had with my stay was they did not have orange juice with the breakfast. Now consider the fact that Florida is kind of famous for oranges, this puzzles me to no end. I mean they served pineapple juice. Really, am I in Hawaii? Orange juice is the nectar of the gods and there is no excuse not to serve it in Florida. I mean let's get real here, I cannot stress enough how good OJ is (the fruit not the killer), it is chock full of Vitamin C and it tastes delicious. Well unless you drink it right after brushing your teeth, then it's YUCK! Coffee, milk, tea, cocoa, pineapple juice. That's what was served. Orange juice should be available anywhere, anytime. Oh and the hotel was really nice, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If they only had OJ (again, the fruit not the murderer), it would have been 5 stars.
Had a very pleasant stay at this Marriott property. The property seemed pretty new by how clean and up kept it was. My room was spacious and also clean. The only negative I have is the mattress was a tad worn out. Overall I would recommend here and stay again on future trips to Pensacola. Staff were super friendly also! :)
My work rented a conference room to use for a week. Emily Mikel and all of the staff were amazing! They were fantastic to work with, extremely accommodating! I would give them over 5 stars if I could! Definitely will come back again!
One of the worst establishments I have ever worked with. My wife and I were displaced because of hurricane Milton so we could not make our reservation. Should be a quick call to cancel and a refund. No they are trying to charge me the full rate even though we cancelled 2 weeks prior. Please don't waste your time or money on this hotel. Pick a different Marriott....one that is willing to work with it's customers and not try and kick you while your down
