We've been coming here for 7 years now; Ali and his family have always treated us kindly and fairly. The views are incredible and the other campers are always friendly. We've brought many of our friends here, and everyone has loved it. There are porta potties available, otherwise you bring your own supplies and enjoy the experience. There's plenty to explore and experience within the confines of the site and the adjacent river.
My friend and I visited Squamish Valley Campground for the first time this past week and we were blown away by the beautiful views surrounding us! Ali went out of his way to make our experience magical! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to avoid the hectic atmosphere at overfilled provincial campgrounds. There is room for large or small groups and even a gorgeous little cabin that overlooks a mountain waterfall and and a beautiful rushing river. THANK YOU Ali, for being so welcoming and gracious to us. We love you!
This property is so beautiful and the river is amazing, but it is so poorly cared for. There is so much potential here but clearly no desire to make improvements or do basic care maintenance. For the massive costs of this site I was expecting way better. No quiet time rules so people screamed till the birds started to sing, bring earplugs. They also gave us a site for 12 but truly it barely fit 3 tents and our 6 people. Arrive to a totally unkept site, it's like they've given up. Porta potties are rough, when emptied I don't see any actual washing down of the stalls. Never any hand sanitizer in any of them either and toilet paper was sparse. For the money i expect better and so should everyone else. If you like a campground with no upkeep and 0 rules that costs too much then this is the place for you.
We just camped here the past weekend and it was gorgeous; the views of the mountains and the water are stunning and we had a great time 😊 There were 12 of of and our site was huge with no one too near for us to disturb. Conveniently, you can park right at the campsite so you don't have to transport your camping gear. The portable bathrooms were clean and not gross at all which was delightful. The staff at check-in were also super friendly!
Our group of 13 camped here for three nights and had nothing but great experiences. The scenery of the mountains and river is beautiful, the port-a-potties are very well-maintained, and the owners were very friendly. Their dogs are super friendly, and followed us back to our campsite and to the river to hang out with us. The owner also offered us a ride in his truck so we wouldn't have to walk back to the campsite in the rain. Great experience.
