Squarewood Campground is a great place to go camping, especially for families. The owners are so kind and nice and usually have some type of activity planned for everyone to participate in if they wish to. We were there over a weekend in October and they did a haunted path walk and it was a blast! They really put a lot of effort in it and made sure everyone had fun. They gave out prizes to the campers who decorated their campsites, too! If you like to fish, this place has a prime spot right on the creek! The facilities are very clean too!
We had the best Vaction spent at Squarewood Acres Campground. From the moment we arrived the Owners were warm and welcoming. The campground was so nice and the bathrooms immaculate. We stayed for 9 days and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Some would think the little to no wifi service might be a bad thing. It was so refreshing to see all the kids in the playground running playing freedom. Swimming and fishing..honestly we hardly saw our girls during the day. The swimming hole is awesome. We felt so at home while we were there..We plan on returning many times over.
Excellent campground! Chuck and Marie, the owners and their family members are super kind and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The bathhouse is immaculate and the campground is spacious. They plan great activities throughout camping season. We highly recommend Squarewood Acres Campground.
Came here for team building with our Football team and this is a great little campgrounds! Cabin #1 was nice and just the right size and location to the bathhouse. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!
