St. John's River Marina & RV Resort

My wife and i enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a beautiful location. The food and atmosphere is great in the restaurant. People in the office are polite and helpful. We will be back the next time we’re in the area and need a good place to set up camp.

I made a 3 month reservation, paying the first month rent AND a $250 deposit up front. After checking in I found the site to be too close, with a neighbors fire pit only about 4 ft from my motorhome drivers window. I asked the front desk to move me should they have a cancellation. However, after a couple weeks I was informed “it is policy to deny any moves during the IN SEASON”…. They never looked for space. Then I made the decision to just forfeit my deposit and move on. Today, I see another $150 on my credit card. A call revealed “our fees are based on a 30 day month and Dec has 31 days”. So now they kept my $250 deposit and want an additional $150. I have already called my credit card company and declined payment because my receipt states paid in full from Dec1 thru Dec31. BEWARE of St. John’s River Marina and RV Resort! They have no idea of customer service… They could have easily told me of the no move policy when I first asked and they could have explained the additional cost when I asked about penalties.

We love this area, this was our 4th year and 3 months is never enough. There are several changes, but overall things have been great. We stayed for Easter dinner with a 'late checkout' and management was more that gracious. The workers are friendly and super helpful. Everyone here is very nice, welcoming and we'll miss our St John's family until next year. We'll be back for sure!

We stayed here for 2 months. Love the location. The River Grille is a wonderful place to have cocktails and food was really delicious. The RV manager/ maintenance guy Matt was amazing. He was so helpful and accommodating. We will be back next year. Looking forward to hooking up with new friends. Hopefully we’ll see all the staff again Everyone was super nice
