Not worth $45! Sites are super close, so close the fire pit was off site in the grass across from site, grass was 8 inches high! NO laundromat and ONE dumpster for the whole campground located at the entrance. When I left the manager was mowing around the office only. Would not stay again

We rented a tent camping site that was supposed to have water and electric. Neither one was working. The solution was not the greatest but we made do. They ran an extension cord across from the main house and we had to get water for dishes and animals out of the hose outside the bath house. They never offered any discount off our stay, which would have been appropriate. Despite this, the community was great and the pool was clean and nice.

The corporate team leaders who represent Investorade have a web site, and social media that misrepresents this campground. It is a hour away from St Louis, the last improvements were done prior to the corporate buy out. Currently this campground is being held together by the dedicated seasonal campers and current on site manager. So if you look at the website or social media pages prepare yourself to be disappointed with the false advertisements. This is a older campground with the charm of hard working seasonal campers.

Kind of a weird place. The sites are clean and the hookups worked fine. I was greeted by a dude with no shirt on. No map of the campground to help me find my spot and no instruction sheet like I get in most commercial campgrounds. It was quiet at night and that's the most important thing to me. No trains going by, no interstate noise and no barking dogs.

The park is very clean, no one was in the office to greet us. Easy in and out.We finally found a map inside the late arrival box. The water pressure is less than 30 lbs making it difficult to do laundry. Not sure why this was done, but all their sewer hookups are a foot above the ground . This makes it challenging to dump. Ok place to stay overnight.
