Really great experience. Was super convenient to book the site. Area was large and had room for our large family (trailer and tent). Would love to come here more. Just a heads up for people there is no cell service here and the bathrooms arent flushing toilets. We had a great time will definitely be returning every year !

great campground with beautiful scenery and nice size lots. nice calm river to float around in. there are washrooms but no showers but I don't consider that as a negative, still a great place to camp and I definitely recommend it! also maybe bring some logs of your own to burn as the wood you can buy burns pretty fast.

Campground is nice. Our site backed on to the river which was very nice. Sites are not as big as some other provincial campgrounds but as it was not very busy the weekend we were there, this was not an issue. It was quiet and peaceful. St. Mary's reservoir was very low when we went, so the beach and day use were closed. Still we really enjoyed the area and made it our home base to visit Policeman's Outpost PP and Waterton Lakes.

Campsite had potential to be nice but the mosquitoes were so incredibly bad my party could barely eat in peace, infact the mosquitoes were so bad my party left the campsite a day early. Not only that but whenever I was away from the campsite the staff would harass my party over paying for multiple extra tents when we had already payed for all but one tent online (meaning we only would have payed for one extra not multiple tents). All in all bad experience would not go again.

A great place to stop on your way to Waterton! Because of a difference in check in times between national and provincial parks we used St. Mary's as a means for a closer jumping off point to Waterton. We would do it again in the future. The kids paddle-boarded in the St. Mary's river which borders the campground. the upper reservoir was too windy for paddle-boarding when we visited. The campground was quiet when we visited so the privacy was OK, but I can imagine on busy weekends that would change.
