Stag Run Club

One of the best experiences I've ever had with my husband. The place is clean and organized. The owners are absolutely wonderful. We live in Florida and will make the trip back because it was that good. Pool was nice and had a great mix of people. We stayed in one of the rooms located behind the main house. The room was very nice. No bathroom but not that far away. The outdoor shower was a great experience too... thanks for letting us stay and for making us feel so welcomed.

This was my first visit here and went solo. I rented one of the vintage campers. The Owners were very welcoming and hospitable from the first second I arrived! The seasonal campers were great at showing me around and very inviting. Very well maintained grounds and facilities. Gorgeous pool, hot tub, and lodge! Very community oriented and felt very welcomed! I loved that it more quaint, quiet and low key. I Had a very relaxing weekend and plan to return!

First timer here: I went by myself this past weekend and had a blast! The vibe is so friendly and inviting. Total acceptance and beautiful community. I was able to make friends and talk to pretty much everyone. The owners were great! The regulars were great! The new people were great! I will definitely be back! Biggest impression was the friendliness of everyone.

This was my first experience at a queer Campground. I'll admit I was a little anxious the first night but quickly got over that. The grounds are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The pool area is quite literally stunning and there is generous and comfortable seating. The host Robb was fantastic and so generous. We attended over memorial day weekend and had an absolute blast. We just booked a cabin for labor day!

I'm new to Stag Run this season and have already been 4 weekends with more. planned. I find the guys there are very friendly to new guys, especially when they start to come more often. I have a blast every time I go. The Holiday weekends have been great. Guys brought a feast for everyone and there was a fun activity Saturday and Sunday night. The DJ on memorial Day weekend was out-of-this world good. I'm a people watcher and there are so many different kinds of guys there, anyone could make a new friend/s. I say this because I have met some of the sweetest and nicest men there both camping and on a Day Pass. A big hug to Rob and Hugh for creating such a warm, inviting, and friendly atmosphere. I can't wait to get back to see everyone this weekend. I came just to meet new guys and have received a lot more.

I went here on a Sunday a bit later in the day to renew my membership and get a day pass. When I got there I was told they’d be closing at a different time than their website. Which, okay, I’ll be mindful of the time and not overstay. Had a good couple hours of chatting and hanging out in the pool. But something felt ‘off’… The thing that is off is the ownership. This is a place to go if you enjoy hanging out with a schoolyard bully that has a middle school mentality (the new owner). I paid $20 for maybe two hours in a pool, and felt like I was doing them a disservice being there. Not only that, this is after buying a membership and two passes last year, $60. Even then, I had some creeping feelings I just wasn’t accepted there. I made the huge mistake of going back… This time I was getting angrily glared at the entire time by the owner. Way more off putting, not even trying to hide it. I did my best to ignore it, as I was there simply to relax. Then, I was insulted as I was leaving, by said owner. The c-word was hurled as I was walking out the door. This was after I politely said goodbye. I just kept walking, half in disbelief at what just happened, and half pondering what I could have possibly done to warrant that treatment. The sad part is I left my house that day thinking I found a nice place to be accepted, and get away from daily stresses. Instead it added another. This is a ridiculous place, wouldn’t call it a business let alone a “club”. Never going back, not recommending it to anyone. I’ll speak up for myself if I’m mistreated. I’ll speak up for others who are likely getting the same mistreatment here (read some of the other lower reviews, there’s a pattern). This is all warranted, I’m not removing this review, please be forewarned.
