Stagger Lee Music & RV Park Introduce

Welcome to Stagger Lee Music & RV Park, a distinctive destination within the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category, located in the charming rural landscape of Appling County, Georgia, near Hazlehurst. This family-owned and operated park sets itself apart by combining comfortable RV accommodations with a vibrant appreciation for music, particularly country and bluegrass genres. It offers a unique blend of tranquility and entertainment, creating a memorable experience for both short-term visitors and those seeking a longer-term stay in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

The environment at Stagger Lee Music & RV Park is characterized by its peaceful, country setting. Situated amidst flat terrain with scattered trees, the park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The air is fresh, and the surroundings evoke a genuine sense of rural Georgia, providing a quiet backdrop for relaxation. Despite its tranquil atmosphere, the park is conveniently located, with easy access to Highway 341, which connects coastal and middle Georgia. The property is designed to accommodate various sizes of RVs, with spacious sites that blend seamlessly into the natural landscape. The rustic aesthetic of the buildings on site complements the "old timey mountain music" that is part of the park's identity, creating a harmonious environment where guests can unwind and feel connected to traditional Southern roots. The relatively consistent temperatures, ranging from around 40°F in winter to 90°F in summer, make it a viable camping destination across multiple seasons, each offering its own charm.

Within the Campgrounds & RV Parks platform category, Stagger Lee Music & RV Park provides comprehensive services designed to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay for all guests. The park boasts 155 full hookup RV sites, which include electric (30 and 50 amp service), water (from a deep well), and sewer connections. This complete utility offering is a significant service, catering to the needs of modern RVs and allowing for worry-free extended stays. For guest convenience, the park provides reliable Wi-Fi, with service generally strong at the office and supported by three high-powered repeaters that extend coverage to each campsite. A heated bathhouse with showers and laundry facilities is available, ensuring essential amenities for hygiene and comfort, particularly valued during longer visits. A large, centrally located dumpster is provided for easy garbage disposal. The park also maintains pull-through sites, which are a highly appreciated service for those with larger rigs, simplifying arrival and departure. The availability of these services underscores the park's commitment to providing a well-equipped and user-friendly camping experience.

The features of Stagger Lee Music & RV Park highlight its dual identity as both a practical RV park and a hub for musical enjoyment. A primary feature is its capacity to accommodate even the largest campers and motorhomes, with large, spacious sites. The full hookups, including 50-amp service, make it ideal for big rigs. The inclusion of Wi-Fi as a courtesy is a valuable feature for guests who need to stay connected. Beyond the standard campground amenities, the park's most distinctive feature is its dedication to music. While the park owners, Stagger Lee and Lori Lynne, may work out of state at times, they are known for hosting music shows and "pick-ins" (impromptu jam sessions). The presence of a musician as a camp host further encourages these spontaneous musical gatherings, adding a unique cultural dimension to the camping experience. The park also features picnic tables and a horseshoe pit, providing simple recreational opportunities. The staff, including the office person Sue, are frequently praised by guests for their friendliness, warmth, and willingness to assist, which is a significant human-centered feature that contributes to the park's welcoming atmosphere. Its family-run nature fosters a sense of being "part of the family," as noted by many visitors.

For promotional information, Stagger Lee Music & RV Park leans heavily on its unique blend of "Southern Hospitality" and "hillbilly" charm. Promotional materials often emphasize the park's rural setting and its appeal to those seeking a quiet, country escape. However, the most distinctive promotional element is the park's connection to music. Visitors are encouraged to follow their Facebook page for updates on upcoming events, including scheduled shows and informal jam sessions. The park promotes its ability to accommodate large groups, making it suitable for gatherings like "Campers on Mission" sessions, where the staff's support (e.g., building fires at pavilions) is highlighted. Pricing, typically ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 per night depending on the site, is transparently advertised. Long-term rates, such as monthly stays, are also available, appealing to those working in the area (e.g., during Plant Hatch shutdowns) or seeking an extended retreat. The park's convenient location between Hazlehurst and Baxley is often mentioned, with both towns offering Super Walmarts and dining options like Ray's Steakhouse nearby. The pet-friendly policy, with a focus on well-behaved, leashed pets and responsible cleanup, is a significant promotional point for many travelers. The overall promotional message is an invitation to come relax, enjoy the country air, and perhaps even experience some authentic live music, promising that guests "always leave here feeling like they're part of the family." Prospective guests are encouraged to contact the park directly via phone or check their website/social media for the most current information and to make reservations.

Nice campground and a huge RV park. They have plenty of space for any size camper or RV, with all the hook-ups. There's also campers that belong to the park that you can rent if you don't have your own. There is a split, men's and women's shower house with restrooms, for anyone staying there. There's also kayaks that you can paddle around in the little swamp area. It's definitely a great place to stay if your in the area.

Great place to stay. Was down in GA for contract work, and we enjoyed the campground. Staff is super awesome, easy to work with and quick to communicate. Campground was quiet even though we had 20 workers there, plus other contractors staying here. Facilities are nice and clean, with two bathrooms and showers available as well as washers and dryers (quarters needed). Kayaks are available for use on the swampy pond on the property.

I regularly stay here when I am in the area as a migratory beekeeper. The park is beautiful, affordable for a working budget, and has very kind hosts. Most of the other “campers” are also folks working in the area so it’s very quiet at night (unlike many other RV parks). I’ve now stayed at four of the offered campers/cabins and all were equally comfortable and enjoyable in their own ways. Pictured is the tour bus they have converted into a camper.

Stayed here a month. Reasonable monthly rate. Level, big sites. FHU. Heated bathhouse. The swamp is beautifully alluring but I still wouldn’t take a boat ride back through it but enjoyed the view from the road lol. Very peaceful. Lori & Stagger are very nice, welcoming owners. Sue, check in lady is very welcoming and helpful. One of our fur babies got sick and Sue told us about the good vet who took care of her. So grateful as we were very worried about our 15 year old fur baby and glad to report she is doing good now. If we are ever back in this area of Georgia, we will definitely stay here again!
