We met these wonderful people over New Years during a Carolina Camping Club event hosted by Standing Pines Campground and RV Resort. Amy is very creative and an incredibly skilled people person. Craig has a warm and engaging personality with very strong construction and mechanical skills. Their collective abilities are impressive. But what differentiates Standing Pines from other campgrounds we have visited is the passion and thoughtfulness that has been weaved into every aspect of the design. From the 5-stage swimming pool to the 3 acre pond, cabins, dog parks, nature trails, gaming areas, and mountain bike trails, to the welcome center with immaculate and spacious bathrooms, snack bar and lounge, all purposefully created to maximize the guest experience. What they have and are creating at Standing Pines is not just what one expects from a typical camp ground but an experience that is expertly woven into the lives of their guests. We want you to know that we see and appreciate the tapestry of joy that you are creating.
I’ve visited Standing Pines several times and each time it just gets better and better. This is the perfect place for families and kids and for couples looking for a quiet getaway. My son loves coming and walking around the lake, having a campfire, and riding his bike through the park. The dog park is a fantastic area for my dogs to run and get exercise. During our most recent visit, we were able to do gem mining and do a lot of puzzles in the welcome center. The sites are huge and have oversized picnic tables and fire rings. We spend every evening around the campfire. Each time we visit, there is more and more things added to the campground amenities. The owners and staff are so accommodating, kind, and welcoming. The best part of Standing Pines is the AMAZING sunsets every evening and the beautiful starry skies. You can’t miss it!!! If your looking for a family fun camping experience, Standing Pines need to be on you list.
Standing Pines is an amazing place! Came up for a weekend visit to see my parents while they are working here. We stayed in the pet friendly cabin and it was so cute! The bed was comfortable and it was pretty spacious too! Our big fur baby even had room! The shower house is a 30 second walk behind the cabins. If you enjoy HOT water they are a huge it! The dog park was another huge hit giving my boy plenty of room to run and stretch his legs! Also the stars at night are beautiful to look up at from the deck of the cabin. The owner well let’s just say the are on a whole new level! The kindness and hospitality they showed us was phenomenal! If I could give them 100 stars I would! We will definitely be back to this park! ♥️
Standing Pines is bringing a resort camping experience to the SC Sandhills! With so many luxury amenities in the works, this "wildly comfortable camping" experience is sure to be home to many incredible memories for generations to come. Not sure about camping? Try a stay in one of the A-frame cabins- they're fantastic, and equipped with heat/air, a ceiling fan, a small fridge, and microwave! Top tips: don't miss the sunsets, and get ready to count to super high numbers when star gazing at night!
