The staff was very friendly! The restrooms and showers were the cleanest of any campground we have been to. Individual bathroom and showers! The campground was well maintained! Lot of activities for children and adults as well! Our group loved it so much we are coming back next year!
The owners and hosts are awesome. The campground is very clean, well organized, and well managed. The have lots of activities for kids. Great place to stay but a little off the beaten path.
We stayed here on a fishing trip and got in late Friday night. Starlight called a little before the office closed to confirm our intended arrival and even asked us if we needed firewood. When we arrived, there was a packet waiting for us with details in the site and the wood was delivered. Awesome! The bathrooms were always spotless and campground was full. Amazing experience. I already have a second trip scheduled.
We stayed at Starlight campground for 4 nights and had a great time! We were on a full hook-up site. The site we were on was flat and made for an easy set up. We came after hours and Jennifer had a folder with all the info we needed. Bathrooms were a bonus with each having their own shower, toilet, and sink. This made for a nice private setting while freshening up. The campground had many activities, themed events, WiFi was good, and nice graveled paths. The location was perfect for our getaway as we golfed in surrounding towns. Great central location to many nice courses.
Fantastic campground! Super nice and clean. You can certainly tell the owners demonstrate pride in ownership. The location is perfect with it being within an hour to Gaylord, Traverse City and Petoskey. Awesome amenities for the kids, and great touches with the welcome wood in your fire pit when you arrive and coffee on Sunday mornings. The only thing I would like to see is some sort of a night patrol for the sole purpose of telling people to turn the lights to their campers off. Some of the lights were ridiculously obnoxious. Otherwise, I would most definitely stay here again
