Starlight Camping's host, Michelle, is absolutely lovely. She's super friendly and ready to help you. She even chased down my tent when it blew off while I was away!). The bathrooms and facilities are clean and well maintained (and the permanent bathrooms being built look like they are going to be lovely). The location is ideal as it is only about 25 min to Zion and Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary and just outside of Kanab with easy access to shops, gas, and restaurants. The sunset views are absolutely spectacular! I would highly recommend a stay here!

What a gem this campground is for overlanders who don't want to be surrounded by RVs and generators. The owner is lovely and is doing an amazing job getting this place to a high standard. Each site is spacious, clean, and has an amazing sunset views. The showers are hot and powerful, the water lovely and clean/fresh. We stayed with our motorcycle and tent for 1 night on our tour of the Americas. If you're overlanding through Utah this is perfect for you.

I stayed at Starlight Campground for 4 nights. Great amenities, spacious sites, I had to work a few days from the location, had no problems getting cell phone internet service. The host is extremely kind and amazing, you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her beautiful facilities. Came down for a kayaking trip on the Colorado and decided to stay in Kanab after for some hiking. I did a lot of hiking in the area, had the luxury of seeing the northern lights because of the dark skies one night. I will definitely be staying here again, its close to the hwy, easy access to both town and many trails, including Zion that I popped over for a hike one afternoon. Being a solo traveler its always high on my list to stay in places I feel safe, this was one I definitely felt that, would recommend this campground!

We stayed at Starlight for 3 nights while we visited Zion and surrounding areas. The campsites were clean and neatly arranged, with lovely sage brush and wild flowers separating each camp spot... The bathroom was very clean, hot showers were amazing after several previous days of rugged rural camping. The location is easy to find- right off the highway. Grocery shopping is near by at Kanab’s grocery stores. We even found cupcakes for our birthday boy and he was pleased as punch. Michelle was incredibly kind and helpful, both with our campsite and local recommendations for places our children would enjoy. She warned us about random micro gusts of wind that occasionally happen, so we had our camping supplies all put away when we were gone for the day. When we returned that evening from hiking the Narrows in Zion, she showed us a photo that one of those random gusts had happened and uprooted our tent (even though we had staked it down) but she and a friend had kindly flipped it back for us and staked it down with heavier stakes. It felt amazing to have a camp host that was looking out for us personally and we recommend her and her campsite very highly. We would absolutely stay again.

Starlight Camping is an amazing experience - Michelle, the host, is informative about the area and was so fun to chat with! From a great location close to any surrounding hiking areas, the campground was beautiful, well set up, and the bathroom is incredible, an even better one is being built! For primitive camping, it's the nicest one yet. We will be back, what a great welcome to Utah! :)

I'm reviewing this site 5 weeks after we were lucky enough to come across it . We traveled 3800 miles through California Nevada Utah and Arizona visiting the national parks . This site was by far the best we came across . Good flat pitch with a good amount of space and very clean , toilet block was really clean and also the best showers we have had in the 6 weeks of the trip . We used the site as a base to visit Bryce and Zion canyons. We spent 5 nights in total and found it to be quiet and peaceful with a great back drop . The owner Michelle had been very helpful with information on some real interesting local places and anything you care to ask her . Definitely five Stars for the camp host .thank you Michelle for making us feel very welcome .

My wife and I flew from Minnesota with our tent camping equipment for a tour of the southwest. We stayed at numerous campgrounds along the way. This campground had the cleanest bathroom facilities and campsite that we stayed at. My wife always brings a tablecloth for the picnic table but decided against using it because the table was cleaner than the tablecloth!! The showers had nice hot water. The campground is in a perfect location for day trips to all the national parks and monuments in the area. The surrounding landscape scenery is very nice and you can actually see it without wall to wall RV’s. The sites are decently spaced apart. The host even helped us by providing Fire starter material for having our campfire at night. She greeted us when we arrived and when we left. I heard she developed the campground and did most of the work herself with help from friends. It’s nice to see a small business like this succeed. If we travel this area again, I would certainly stay here. It’s hard to find tent campsites in this general area that you can reserve ahead of time.

I absolutely LOVE this campground. It is geared toward the old style of camping. It accommodates car campers, van lifers(under 18 feet), and good 'ol tent campers. I havent had to listen to one generator! There's water and trash and showers. I've NEVER seen such nice campground bathrooms! Most sites look like they could accommodate 2 cars. There's lots of native trees and plants still in place, as well as new ones. The rate is super reasonable too. The camp host is very friendly and helpful. And 5 bars of cell service to top it all off! I'd come back here any day!

Excellent location only a couple of miles from downtown Kanab. Quiet, beautifully maintained campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. The hostess is super friendly and accommodating. Best of all...meticulously clean bathrooms with hot showers. Also, no giant rigs allowed, so no annoying noise. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this campsite. It well located equidistant from Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon parks. The showers and restrooms are very clean, and have hot water. The hostess was very welcoming and very kind.
