I’m revising my review now that we’ve been to the beach. First impressions were not positive. We did not like our campsite in the Mountain View portion. The sites are crammed together like a KOA and there were noisy people all around us. If we had not come on the weekend, we may have had a better impression. There were bits of trash in our spot. The positives are the shelter and firepits and we had the only site with trees. We drove through the beach campground which was even more crowded. The third day, we went to the beach and found it to be very nice. Beautiful lake, clean clear water. We would return if we could get a better spot and not on the weekend. Flies are an issue.
Love this spot. The bathrooms are always clean. The staff is so friendly. There is a drinking water picket, power and showers available. The lake is just feet away from your campsite.
I really like the ability to park the RV right down at the shore. Restrooms could have used a little more attention as far as cleaning and stocking.
We are on a quest to visit all the yeah state parks this year. So far we've been to over half and starvation is in our top 3 favorite. The water is clear and the beach area is great for kids to play in. There are lots of great areas to explore via boat too.
We stayed at Indian Bay Campground, almost all of the camp sites are great, but the best ones are the ones near the shore with a spectacular view and quick access to the beach area some are big enough for rv's and others for tents only, no hook ups at this campground, vault restrooms that were pretty clean. Water Level is good.Fishing, paddle boarding and all your other water sports are sure to be fun here. The only issue was the trash bins were overfilled and trash scattered around the camp grounds, maintenance can do a better job at this and so can we, pick up after yourself and keep this place as nice as it naturally is..👍
