Location and Accessibility
Statesville RV Park I-77 is strategically located at 162 KOA Ln, Statesville, NC 28677, USA. This makes it an incredibly convenient choice for RVers and travelers traversing North Carolina, allowing for easy on and off access without significant detours. Statesville itself is a well-known hub in Iredell County, offering a blend of small-town charm with necessary amenities like gas stations, grocery stores, and various dining options.
While the proximity to I-77 ensures unparalleled convenience, it's worth noting that some highway noise can be expected, a common characteristic of campgrounds located for easy interstate access. However, many campers find this a minor trade-off for the sheer ease of arrival and departure.
Beyond its immediate convenience, the park's location in Statesville provides a central point for exploring a wide array of North Carolina attractions. Within an hour's drive, campers can reach major destinations like Lake Norman for boating and fishing, Carowinds theme park for family fun, and the historic Old Salem Moravian Village for a cultural experience. For those looking to enjoy the great outdoors, Lake Norman State Park is nearby, offering hiking trails and additional water activities. The park is also within reasonable driving distance to the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, making it a viable gateway for mountain adventures without the immediate mountain terrain challenges. We stayed at this campground last week and it was great! Staff is really nice. The park is kept clean and the people are friendly. I love how they have upgraded the place as well! I will definitely return!
Management of this facility is top notch. The team is friendly and courteous.I am a full-time camper and I have stayed at quite a few campgrounds over the past year. This one is the best I’ve been to.
Super awesome people! Clean, friendly, q great place to camp all around! Plus they have the little store at the office that's super helpful if you forget something. Two playgrounds, a pool, dog park, basketball and others.
Beautiful park! Came up for a wedding and stayed in one of the cabins instead of pulling our camper up. The park was well taken care of, and the shower/bathroom facilities were cleaned daily and very nice. The cabin was well maintained and had a very comfortable bed, loved the bunk beds that were also offered and they would be great for kids. Wifi was strong. Everyone we interacted with when we arrived (Sterling, Emma, Sharon, Jeff, Holly & Karl) was very friendly and provided excellent customer service! Several restaurants and stores deliver here which is also nice when you've traveled all day and don't want to try and cook something yourself. We will be back, next time with our camper.
The park is awesome! Came in from south Texas for my Niece's wedding and spent a couple of days in one of the cabins. The owner and staff take pride in this park and it shows! Wifi was strong and never had any lagging or issues while using it. Everyone was friendly and offered great suggestions of where to eat and things to do while in the area. Keep being amazing, we look forward to staying again!
