Customer Reviews
I live on this side of town and have never tried Stems so I decided to try it out while supporting a black owned business. I ordered the 3 wing breakfast ($11.50 + tax) and a side salmon patty ($5 + tax). 3 wing breakfast: OK - comes with grits and eggs (scrambled), with choice of toast or biscuit. Eggs were light and fluffy but, grits were undercooked and very "gritty" along with 3 very small lightly seasoned wings. Salmon: Horrible - appears to be a precooked frozen patty which was spicy and dry. Definitely not like any fried Salmon patty I've ever had. All in all, the staff was friendly but I didn't care for the food bought today. I may try other dishes in the future.
I finally got the chance to stop by this place. A mom & pop style restaurant with down home south cooking. Open everyday til 2pm. Small but big in flavor. So this is not a sit down place itβs to go only. I got the salmon patty with grits, eggs, and biscuit. And also the shrimp, sausage, and peppers over grits plate (canβt remember the name). The salmon was meaty and good flavor with a kick. The shrimp plate could have used some more shrimp but the sausage was a little over cooked but it remind me of gma cooking. I would return and the prices are reasonable. Especially since they are not adding that service charge and 20% gratuity on top of the bill like some other places that serve the same food but less in quality
I tried the salmon croquettes sandwich π₯ͺ nope!! very untasty , and they do nt have good cooks that has been to school or who is skilled! I think the cooks use to cooking for them selves or at home they had lemonade π but not real lemons all dese restaurants need to stop and get real products and π« cheap animal butter another white flour I'm maybe going vegan I don't like to bash any people business but I did t enjoy my food honestly tasted horribleππππππ«π«im young and like differnt and tasty foodsπ₯π₯ͺππππ₯π₯ππππ
Some home grown cooking like Mawmaw made! The fried catfish plates are second to none! I love the Potatoes sunrise for breakfast
I was present when they packaged my food. The eggs were cold before they added the cheese no salt butter or anything else on grits which were instant I don't know why they would serve anyone a biscuit that looked like the one they gave me $11 to waste my time. Used to be better I should have cooked my own food. Prices are twice as much as posted online.
