Loved this campsite because of the trails around it. The loop trail went into the canyon surrounded by redwoods. The other trail went to the beach. Both were beautiful hikes. The fog and mist made the area feel fairy like. The actual campsite was very basic. We needed electrical hook up for the night so it was sufficient.

Great location! I’ve had 2-3 bars on Verizon and I’m able to use my phone and the internet without a problem from the campsite. Right across the road from the ocean, has bathroom and showers (2.00, bring quarters), and right next to the best little trails and a beach. Such a great spot.

Pretty quite camp ground and the spots are spread out well. Some cook hiking spots right from the campground and also you can walk right to the ocean. I was told that the site is on a well and that the well has tested positive for Ecoli but they are treating with chlorine so the chlorine could be strong. Just to be safe we brought our own water. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. They sell wood by the bundle. They have a sewer dump station and hose to clean out the trailer. To dump its $7 cash only and paid to the park ranger that walks around each night to collect the fee and give you a parking pass.

This is a standout campground and my favorite place to tent camp along with my girlfriend. It is very secluded, campsites are separated by trees and bushes in most cases which adds to privacy. It is also a great spot for families and RVs/trailers, as many spots can accommodate extra long vehicles (though there are no hookups). Each site has a fire ring, locker, and picnic style bench. There are also bathrooms and showers with running water ($2.00 for 5 mins at the shower, paid in quarters). There is an adjacent beach, and a short trail leading to it from the campground. Firewood is always for sale by the camp host for $10/wheelbarrow. Overall this is a standout & picturesque campground on the northern California coast!

A beautiful state park along the PCH. Some sites have electric. Very quiet nestled in the pines.
