Customer Reviews
We booked a campsite through airbnb, and the owner of the campground Ryan is so beyond kind, welcoming, and accommodating. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our experience amazing. The campground is also over a lake, which is so nice to be able to go fishing or just watch the sunset. There were also kayaks and canoes that were free to use as well so if you don't feel like fishing off the dock, you can paddle to one of the islands to fish. The campground was so nice and clean, and the communal bathrooms were kept so nice and clean! The guest house had wifi and all the cooking gear you would need, so theres no need to pack heavy. Just bring your food and put it in the communal fridge. Thank you for making our first trip to montana so amazing! If you book through airbnb, make sure you book with host Ryan he truly is so amazing!
My husband loved our stay at Stillwater. It’s situated on a stunning and secluded lake. Our cabin was exactly what you need if you wanna feel like your camping and getting away from it all but still want to sleep in a bed. Mattress and linens were comfy. Also showers were hot and it’s just nice to have a shower and bathroom, definitely is more of a clamping experience. The breakfast is a must, the food was excellent. Very dog friendly place. The host in wonderful, he showered us such warmth and hospitality. We loved talking to him during our stay and went out of his way to show us kindness and make us feel at home. There is also a bar near by that also has food that you could kayak/SUP or walk to. I hope we fine ourselves back there one day. Thanks for a great stay!
Awesome place, very accommodating, this place include everything, kayaks, paddle board, firewood, coffee in the morning and probably much more ! We stopped on our motorcycle trip for 1 night and it was great, I wish we could have stayed a few more days. Right by the lake, their cabins are really nice and comfortable. 💯 recommend this place!
These grounds are MAGICAL and ELECTRIFYING. Ryan is the steward of this beautiful land that calls to you to stay there and never leave. The sunsets are beautiful but realizing I was in the company of an immediate friend and soul connection was the best part. There’s a game room and a communal kitchen and fire pit. This experience is about community so keep an eye on this place… it’s meant to be experienced and you’ll never leave the same as you came.
We recently stayed here for 3 nights in one of the tents and as someone who wasn’t very interested in camping, I enjoyed my time here. We booked through Airbnb with Ryan the owner and he was lovely host. He was very accommodating and he made sure we had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean, the shower was as well bring your shower shoes though! The property was beautiful. We explored the lake with the kayaks/canoe that Ryan graciously let us use it was so much fun! I have never had such a great experience camping and I’ve never experienced a more accommodating, kind, and friendly host like Ryan. I highly recommend staying here. There are tents, cabin, spots for RV and your own tent as well. Ryan is doing a phenomenal job with Stillwater Getaway, coming from Canada it was a long drive but well worth it. Stay here, and book with Ryan on Airbnb!
