We had a rather secluded spot close to a bathroom which was very well maintained and cleaned. The only problem is the showers had shut down for the season in August! There are sites on top of a hill that face Lake Granby and the views are stunning. The second thing about this park that is a drawback is that they have crammed in so many sites that you are barely 5 ft away from the next camper. Our first set of hosts are absolutely dear people. They were so kind and welcoming to us. Because we have the access and senior passes, our rates were 50%. That was one of the pluses of staying there.
Great camping spot! Sites are a bit close together and the upper sites (the loop away from the lake) get some road noise. Other than that I loved Lake Granby! We kayaked and walked the beach! Spent some time in Grand Lake too
Great location and views. Water and showers and dump station were shut down for the winter the day before we got there. Always remember to check updates on these before you leave and when booking. Still was a nice camp ground.
We had a great experience here! Our campsite was right on the lake with a little path directly to the “beach.” No fires allowed which is to be expected since there are active fires. Bathrooms were super clean. I didn’t use the shower, but my friend did and she said they were pretty decent. The camp host we interacted with was lovely and very helpful. We needed to reserve a space for some friends and she helped a lot. Also an off leash dog wandered to our campsite and she helped us find the owners.
It's a beautifully situated RV park and camp ground, with a dump site for blackwater and clean water fill up. They have restrooms, but no showers and bring your own soap. Thankfully, we had our Camper. Make sure you check restrictions before you go. Let's keep it beautiful.
