Customer Reviews
We drove over 500 miles to stay at this location. Upon arriving the key given for the cabin would not work. 3 doors none of them would lock. Upon entering cabin the floor was so dirty with dirt pine needles and small rocks. Found the housekeeper to assist, she came in and just barely touched the service of the floor. The furniture was so filthy and every shelf full of dust. I went to manager for her to do absolutely nothing. They had to put a new lock on one door and the others were never able to be used. Bathroom was so filthy and tub was full of soap residue my husband slipped and almost fell. The toilet looked as though they had never been cleaned. Again asked manager to assist. She sent someone over to only clean the tub nothing else. Attempted one last time to contact manager to make our stay right and asked to be moved to another room or cabin. The young lady who answered the phone was rude and said manager was not in and would have her call me back. Still waiting for call back. Do not waste your money on this place. $275 a night. As walking in cafe the smell of sewer was horrific. This place could be a gem if they would just clean it up and tend to their occupants needs. I am just floored as to how they did not even attempt to make this right for this kind of money. My husband had such a severe allergy attack from the dust on the couch he spent most of his time outdoors.
I used the store the whole time since it was close to the mountain's campgrounds. It's my favorite stop before the drive up the mountain. It has a little bit of everything. It has a cute restaurant. The people are down to earth. It's clean. I saw deer just hanging out near the parking lot.
The campground was nice and clean. They offer full hookups at all of the rv spaces. There is a small store and restaurant run by the owner just by the park. We roasted smores on the firepit near our site. There is music on the weekends.
RV sites are way too small. Our slider and the neighbors slider were only about 6 inches apart. No room to sit outside next to our RV. No bathhouse! One person in the store working and she was also waiting tables in the cafe!! Never returning!!
It was our 1st time here. The pros are it has beautiful views, very nice people. The cons are that the rv spots are tight. There was a vacant spot next to us, which was nice because if it had been filled it would have been very hard to get out of ours.
