Customer Reviews
Well, it's official, the owner, Jim, is awesome!! This experience was great, sighting of mountain lion included!! We celebrated my boys birthday here with a few friends, and it was a great size, location, and convenience for what we wanted!! We will def be back!! Thanks for everything!!
A great and cozy place close to the lake. My wife and I had a wonderful time here. Three small cabins in the campground tucked in at the end of the road. The cabins are small and cozy, and lend themselves to have a great personal time with your loved one. It includes a microwave, small fridge, TV with local channels, A/C and heater. A small porch on the front of the cabin, with a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit nearby. Shower with hot water and the rest of the fun is up to you! The owners are great and even brought some firewood for the fire pit. Skiatook is very close and therefore if you need to go eat in town or go to a local store it is very easy to do. There is a couple of Marinas nearby and two boat ramps into to the lake within a 10 minute drive. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away and have an intimate and personal experience with their loved ones!
Beautiful scenery, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and maintenance. If you visit, ask for Mark, He will give you a brief rundown of the camps and fishing spots. Don’t forget to tip
Camping after my clutch went out turned to be a wild adventure at most likely the midway point between my two current homes! What a experience to say the least. Friendly people I met staying monthly and friendly passer through RV Stays as well. Jim was easy going and rocked suspenders with cars on them, need I say more! 5 Stars for the entire Horrible Osage Sheriff Department that had the audacity to come do a welfare check on my 5 year old daughter and I, only to tow and impound Our only car, while we were camping in refugee 800 miles away from home with my 15 year old home, waiting for us to fix our car. Kudos and what a proper Way to really help the Situation! Way to stand by your promise to 'Protect & Serve" and to bury us further into a hole it was greatly appreciated! However the sheriffs department can and will vouch for me that I hit or came within inches of shooting a armadillo with a acorn & sligshot as they were towing my car 2 miles away unannounced to me and my 5 year old. If it wasn't for good people like Jim and his Family this world would be in a lot worst shape. I wanted to use this platform to Thank Jim and his Family for what he did for me and my family in our time of great need. A little word goes along way in a small town and I couldn't thank Jim anymore then to leave a review for him and his well maintained beautiful park and fishing pond. I caught nice little fish every morning, the pond was peaceful and the bathrooms, shower facilities and entire park are very well maintained not only by a private off site cleaning crew but also Jim and his family who maintain the park too. Thanks again Jim, Charlotte and I look forward to crossing trails with you again!.
The owner of the camp is really awesome. There are high end cameras that are mounted throughout camp. Ensuring the safety of my RV and its contents. I got a text from the owner yesterday that a tree had fallen on my camper and it made a hole in my AC shroud. Without even asking they removed the limb and took photos of the damage. I was able to get out there and patch her up to ensure no water gets in. Nice and quiet camp so close to the Lake as well!
