My husband and I have been going there for most of our 18 year marriage. Now, we take our kids, too. The land is beautiful, the cabins are well-maintained, and the owners are great. We are incredibly busy, and our time there is something we look forward to every spring and fall. We'd live there if we could. Our kids are obsessed with the place, and it's very family-oriented.
We stayed in our motorhome, so i can't give a review of the cabins. However the restrooms are extremely clean and well kept. Randy the owner and his son really keep the entire campground in top notch shape.
Online booking and check in was very easy. We traveled down from our Canadian home. We are originally from Dublin Ireland (wife). I'm from Liverpool, England. The local campers that come here all season made us feel very welcome at the Halloween party / karaoke . There are lots of local sightseeing within short distances. Very dog friendly, too.
Excellent campground, couldn't be happier, large sites, meticulously maintained. Owners very friendly. We stayed for 6 nights and booked for next year already. Has large pool , game room and events. Very family oriented. Quiet atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We definitely recommend.
We rented a deluxe cabin at Stony Fork Creek Campground. The cabin itself was well maintained and clean. The site around the cabin was also well maintained with a charcoal grill, fire pit and picnic table. The cabin was large enough for our family of four as well as four days worth of belongings and food.The bathroom was roomy and had plenty of storage space. The campground itself was also well maintained. My kids loved swimming in the pool, playing in the game room, and fishing in the pond. It was very quiet, even during the day. The gentleman at the office as very friendly. The location is beautiful and perfect for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. We've gone on many vacations and my kids said this is the best one they've ever been on! Looking forward to making this an annual tradition.
