Here’s what our happy customers have to say:
- "We had a great experience at this campground. The playground was so nice! They have a pool and a water park for younger kids. That have kayaks and paddle boats for rent and a great arcade. The bathrooms were so clean and they were single, unisex bathrooms with a toilet and a shower in them. The staff were helpful and friendly. Even the dirt/gravel roads were smooth and get grated once a week. We highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a campground to visit."
- "We have gone to this KOA 2-3 times a year since 2020. As a family of 6, it’s hard to find accommodations at many campgrounds, but we really like the cabins here. The campground is small enough that all 4 of our kids can ride their bikes and go exploring without being too far from us. Their favorite things are finding frogs and salamanders, fishing and kayaking in the pond. We can’t wait to return next summer!"

I have to say, this was our second year staying at KOA in strafford and we had the best time! We rented the destination RV but due to an act of nature it wasn't available for our stay so they moved us to a cabin and we loved it. The grounds are very clean, I did not see any trash anywhere and the cabin was very clean also when we arrived. The pool was down, but it was great being able to use the boats on the lake at no cost instead and they made the pool at the KOA 15 min away available for us to use and it was beautiful! 10/10 experience. We definitely will be back next year! Thanks for a great trip!
Really nice, clean and friendly KOA campground.. MANY different kinds of cabins and tents available as well as camper spots. Staff was great and prices were reasonable. The pool area is nice with a water slide, large pool and water 'pad' for the kids to play in. Small pond with a variety of boats, canoes, paddle boards etc to rent. Large playground for the kids as well. We will absolutely go back to this one!
Our stay at KOA Strafford was amazing! There is so much for the kids to do; crafts every day, movies every night, splash pad pool, water slide & so much more! The Deluxe cabin was perfect for our family of 5 & I definitely recommend renting a golf cart especially if you stay in one with young kids because they are a good walk away from all of the activities. The kitchens are fully stocked with dishes and pots/pans. Bring blankets and towels though!
A review is easy to write when things go perfect. I'm writing this review when things went all sorts of wrong!! Ms.Tucker, general manager and all her staff were outstanding. They handled the situation professionally, immediately, and had a relaxed, funny dispositions, making us feel great. If you continue reading I'll tell you what the situation was. Some "brilliant" family decided to let their kids invite all their friends to camp. Under 18. They put the boys on the other side of the campground from where they were. (Obviously knowing what was to come) Noise all night, hanging off the tents, running around screaming, cursing, and guess where their wonderful parents were? NOWHERE. when staff talked with them, they acted as if they didn't care and when they heard it was us who complained, yelled and stared us down . In total there was about 30 of them. (No exaggeration). We won't let the low life's effect our future stays. Staff was amazing, pool and slide are great fun and we will definitely be staying again!
