For us it's a great location with easy access to Glasgow or further east. Great site and yes there is some road noise but that was known before booking so no issues. The only issue outwith the sites control is the rubbish outside on the approach road which is public. Otherwise great site

Positive points first, great location as it is right beside the motorway which suited us great. Unfortunately we found the member of staff on duty extremely rude. There was no reason to talk to anyone the way she did to us on arrival. We are retired campsite owners and we have never spoken to anyone the way we were spoken to. Someone is in the wrong job!

It has all the promise of a great location, but proximity to the M74 and A725 means a constant traffic drawl. If you can live with this, it's a great site!

This campsite is great for people visiting Glasgow with a caravan or motorhome and they also accept tents. The site is open all year. The negatives are there is no public transport from the site. if you have a car the quickest way is to drive to Hamilton west rail station where there are trains every 15 minutes into the city centre. The other problem is road noise the site has busy motorways on 2 sides and the road noise is 24 hrs so if it has to be silent for you to sleep this isn't the site for you.

Great site, open all year round. Lovely folks running it who keep it spotless and beautiful. Good location and there is noise from the motorway so bring earplugs if that bothers you, well worth the stop.
