Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA Holiday

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this campground! We have even made this a great stopping point when passing through. Yes, the prices are high, they are KOA prices, so really, they are expected. The staff was extra friendly and helpful! We were able to walk our dogs around and met so many friendly campers! The showers were clean, the bathrooms were clean! The sites are KOA sized, so if you think are you are going to get tons of space, you don't want a KOA, but honestly, I thought the sites were a really decent size! We enjoyed our stay!

This place was fantastic! It was our first time staying at a KOA and it went so well that we're already planning our next stay with them. It was very clean and everyone was very nice. They did trash pick up between the hours of 9am and noon so you could leave a trash bag at the end of your campsite and they would come get it. That was a huge plus!! There's a general store, ice cream, fudge, nice playgrounds, a pool (we went in October so didn't use it) and other fun things to do as well. It really checks all the boxes and was just overall beautiful!! Especially with all the fall colors.

We really enjoyed our time at this KOA and in the area. We have two boys who loved the arcade/game room under the main office. The campground was easy to navigate. It rained every day so they didn't use the playgrounds, ponds, etc. but having hand-scooped ice cream each night was a great treat!

We were at site 423 and tent camped. The sites with electric hookups are very close together and wasn’t the most ideal for tents. If I were to camp here again I’d probably just do the one with water hook up as they seem to be a little more spaced out. The bathrooms were well maintained, good water pressure and temperature for the showers. Staff was a little unhelpful. I asked if they sold kindling wood and the cashier just said “I don’t know”. My biggest complaint is that we brought our dog and the site next to us also brought theirs. I really wish they would space out campers with dogs a bit more, especially with how close the sites are. My dogs been attacked by others in the past and can be a little nervous. This hasn’t been an issue with camping in the past because there’s always enough space between us and other dogs but even with my dog being leashed there was probably only about 15 feet between us and the other dog.

We stayed here one night in October. We had an issue with a turn signal on a truck so we stopped and made phone calls to dealers hoping to get in the next morning. When I checked in at the KOA I paid for two nights since I didn't know what to expect with repairs. Fortunately, a dealer was able to quickly diagnose the problem and made the needed repair. We were ready to be on our way that day about an hour after check out time. I spoke with the manager of the campground about the situation and they agreed to a partial refund of our second night's stay minus a later check out fee. I felt that it was very fair and I greatly appreciated their understanding. It was a very nice RV park and I would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
