Beautiful little park. Can't see the Mississippi River. Biggest drawback was trains, track is next to park but wasn't awakened from train noise. Well maintained. Has water and electric, no RV dump. $10 nite as of June 2021. No camp host.
Located on the outskirts of Ferryville, this campground offers approximately twelve sites. It features a pavilion and a decent selection of playground equipment for kids. Each site includes a fire ring, but none come with a picnic table. I'm not entirely certain, but it appears that none of the sites have electrical hookups. The trains pass by regularly and can be quite loud, although they are not particularly long. The grounds were well-maintained and clean. I would definitely consider returning. The fee is $10 per night for self-pay.
We luv this hideaway park area we just discovered this summer!! It's charming lots of variety for play equipment for the kids are grandson luvs it here !!
$10 for the night; electricity; clean portapotty, water hydrant available. Pavilion with picnic tables. Thank you, city of Ferryville, for providing a city park/campground! I was riding the Great River Road on a bicycle, supported by my husband pulling a simple sleeper camper with a small pickup & our dog. We often have trouble finding a place to park for the night. This campground was perfect. While it would have been nice to have a shower (the cinderblock bathrooms--maybe showers?--were locked), the portapotty was adequate and the electricity was a bonus. I wish all towns provided a place for travelers to safely sleep overnight. Yes, the train track is close and trains can be heard during the night, but that's part of living close to the river. I am so appreciative of this service you provide. We had friendly help from Janette at the gas station when we arrived in town and had supper at the Wooden Nickel--great burgers.
Overall very peaceful and nice campground. It's rained very hard and had our own personal pond!! Definitely recommend just wish the bathrooms were open but there were Porta potty
