Customer Reviews
Wow! Can’t say we’ve ever been to a campground this nice! Every single site is private with lush beautiful Florida plants! The people are super friendly and well staffed at this campground! There is a terrific bar and restaurant at this resort, who has that?? There are no mobile homes or tiny homes in this park which we liked. No gates or codes to get in the park or facilities but very very safe! The cable is solid with tons of channels! The pool area is prestige and lovely like a five star resort! About 30 minutes drive to Key West. If you’re a biker, you will absolutely love the Heritage Trail, which is safe and paved. We will definitely return to this resort over and over!
This was a great campground. Very clean, very relaxing. Definitely has more of a resort feel to it. They text you everyday with the upcoming events they host. Keep in mind it is about 17 miles from key west. I will say however the staff could have been more friendly and welcoming and the lounge chairs at the pool were incredibly uncomfortable (solid wood). But we do recommend this KOA and will come back again.
Amazing KOA RV sites and a hotel resort! One of the best KOAs in the state. We stayed here in our RV, on a kayak back in site, and we had family stay in the resort rooms. Great trip, beautiful KOA, with a small beach and marina area in the koa. The pool area is large and well kept with a bar and grill. Our RV site was pristine with plenty of space and an amazing night sky view when it gets dark. Only 20 minutes from downtown key west. This was our last night in or travel trailer before we traded in for a larger trailer so we wanted to make it a great farewell trip. Great staff. We will return again soon.
We are on a three week RV trip traveling around FL and up front, this was not our original RV Park. That said, I called them early and was surprised they had several openings. They were all Premium sites that backed up to the water so they were pricey, but we needed some place to stay for three nights and this was the best option. NO REGRETS - lets start with check in. Great lady, extremely helpful, just nice so that turned our day around. Lead to our site - a back in - that was spacious. We had tons of room but we are small, just an 18' tear drop. Gravel, nice lava rocks as a border, sites plenty of spacing with Mango trees between sites. WIFI was strong but we used Starlink without issue. They pickup trash from your site. Large pool plus a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a bar and one night they had live music. Large laundry room, easy access to the beach where there were a number of provided beach chairs. You are 20-miles from Key West but depending on traffic that can take a life time. We rode our ebikes but unfortunately, the bike path (not the bike lane which is frickin dangerous) was only a few hundred meters in either direction. Very happy with the stay and would try and stay here again if in the area.
We stayed for a week in November. We selected a kayak launch site. We LOVED this resort. It was luxury. We wanted to stay forever. Things we loved: the foliage around the sites made them semi private, the trash pick up service, the amenities including a pool, bar, and store, the lovely staff members, the marina, the text messages reminding us of activities. We didn't get to kayak as much as we wanted because of wind and cool temps. The location is great to key west or anywhere in the middle keys. Highly recommend.
