Summer Hideaway RV Campground Resort LLC

Great campground, lots of amenities. Very clean showers, bathrooms, outdoor games up in the main area, and most things are free. The pool was not up and running when we were there it was a little early, but the baby pool and hot tub were. They were great. They have mostly permanent campers and only 12 weekend sites. The sites are large pull thru sites. The fire pit placement in concjunction with the swear placement made it hard to hook up and run our awning out. Would have needed 3 sections of tubing. We did fine for the 3 nights we were there. It did rain alot amd the Mosquitos were awful as soon as you got out of the truck. Maybe they could pretreat the area with spray. I'm not sure why they were so bad in that area. Overall. We loved the site the area and the campground. We will definitely return.

If someone were to ask me to describe Summer Hideaway in 2 words, I would say stress relief. I love this place. I have found my second family here. The owners are helpful, hardworking, and amazing people. They have done an outstanding job of creating a wonderful place for people to get away from the daily grind and do some serious R&R.

Great family campground! This is our 2nd year here and we love it. Everyone is super nice. Lots of kids for our son to play with. The pool is amazing and perfect for a hot day. Close to many places to do things outside the campground.

Would give ten stars if possible. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful staff, well managed and maintained. Beautiful campground - very festive.

Wow!! Nice park, very well maintained and it has just about everything you can imagine to help enjoy your stay. Splash pad, hot tub, pool, mini golf, huge sand box area with lots of sand toys, covered pavilion etc. Very clean! The owner was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Great Campground.. Lots to do, Super nice owners and hosts. Many events throughout the season.. Halloween is a must!!

I rented a spot here when they first opened. The owners were always courteous to us and the grounds were clean. We only stayed for 3 years because every year the price went up a couple hundred dollars and we ended up getting a spot for cheaper at another campground that we were on the waiting list for. The new campground was on the lake too! What really sucked was that we had to leave behind $400 in patio brick and a $700 deck, but oh well. ***UPDATE*** In response to the owners reply. I definitely do not have the wrong campground in mind. We rented when the campground barely had anything. The spots to the West weren't available until the year we left. Laurie and (I think Jim) son was starting to take on more of an ownership role at the campground.
