Love this campground it was very quiet and had Creeks running through it in multiple different directions. It's right outside Yosemite entrance. Typically on weekdays you should have no problems getting it in without reservations. On weekends most likely you need a reservation at high times

Such a fun experience!! I highly recommend to anyone who likes it more quiet. The host was terrific!! He brought firewood for us for $8 a pack. We had a great time. Bathrooms are very clean and we didn’t worry about bears or people going through our things. Only a mile away from the entrance of Yosemite. It was $30 to enter and lasted 3 days but we could only go in after 4pm

I stayed at this campground in mid September 2024. Apparently that was the last weekend it was open for the season. It is a small beautiful campground just outside of the national park. A beautiful creek runs through it with deep holes first for soaking. The marvellous host runs a well taken care of campground. We had a fantastic stay. I hope to return.

Summerdale is a nice campground close to Yosemite. Some campsites have shade. Our site was pretty close to our neighbor. The table was kinda of worn out. The firepit/grill was useful. The site itself was small and dusty. Big creek is really close and is a nice to take a dip in (was very hot). Also trout in the creek too. Clean and stocked vault restrooms and the overall campground is nice. Camp host was cool and had good info to share. Try this place out, not badd at all.

We went up 2nd week of May, 10 day forecast said upper 50's to 60's. As the day showed up it ended up being low 40's and 20's at night. Not fun in a tent but my bag is rated to zero, wife's bag not so much. We had amazing time we can now say we've been camping in every weather o'yeah it snowed, was fun maybe go back in August when it's warmer ... Left rock's with written notes on them at lot #15. Also there's a message in a jar hidden..
