Myself and my girlfriend were kayaking all the way from Kingston to Ottawa and planned on camping at the locks until we saw this campground... we called an got a spot. Excellent location, very friendly staff and all infrastructure a camper needs (showers, toilets, sink). I recommend :)

New to the campground but already feels like home away from home. To go from park owners who dont care about people to owners who make you feel like family is amazing! I spent my first evening sitting around a campfire with the neighbors who I only met a few hrs before. Everyone I have met is nice and welcoming and only have good things to say. I look forward to enjoying whats left of the season and meeting more people. I also cant wait for next summer to experience all the fun :)

This place is incredible it's suitable for all ages there are so many wonderful things to do here at summer land the people here are super nice the water front is absolutely gorgeous if you're not interested in the water front there is tons of wilderness here that I'm sir you would love to explore we've been here for almost a year now and it feels like home as soon as you arrive here you're stress goes away and you'll never want to go home. Enjoy what life has to offer stressed blessed and summer land campground upsest.

I have not stayed here, but I was in the process of getting a seasonal site here. Site selection process/or lack of was not straightforward whatsoever. Received conflicting information from the owners about a becoming a seasonal camper, also no clear indication of what site Amps (electric) was avaliable. Felt that we were not treated as customers, but rather that we should be just lucky to be offered an unspecified site. Not at all the same process as other local seasonal campgrounds.
