Found this sweet spot throughout Airbnb, when planning a girls weekend. We are so grateful for our time here. The accommodations at not fancy. We appreciated the retro charm. But, must of all, we appreciated meeting the lovely staff. They were very friendly. We also appreciated the peaceful vibes of the resort and natural surroundings. We hope to return someday in the near future.
We had plans Change for labor day weekend and we found this last minute. (They had a cancellation so we were lucky). This place does not disappoint. It is a perfect meld of Lake life feel with all that the puget sound has to offer. The waters are warmer here than most the sound, so swimming, paddle boarding, and many other water sports are all being enjoyed. If you have a boat bring it they have affordable mooring. The Admiral cottage was perfect and better than the pictures. The staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly care about guests having a great experience. We will be back, and have already been suggesting it to friends. We are thankful to have found this gem. It was great to have it as the perfect ending to our summer.
This is a very nice, family owned and operated property. Beautiful views and easy access to all the enjoyment of the Hood Canal. Clean and well-maintaimed accommodations with a very functional and supplied kitchen. Thank you to our hosts!
I cannot say enough good things about Summertide! From the location to the service to the amenities - everything is sure to set you up for a stellar trip. We visited for my birthday weekend with some friends. We originally booked a couple of spots in the meadow but realized it would be a bit tricky to get our friends pop-up in the spots we reserved. The spots on meadow were a bit tighter than we had expected and would have been great spot for a typical trip but being that it was my bday I was hoping for something special. Enter Tommy - the super friendly and helpful on-site manager (owner?). Without even asking him, he offered us the 2 waterfront RV spots at no extra charge which quite literally made the weekend for me. On top of the amazing spots we got to explore their well stocked general store which had a little bit of everything - essentials, toiletries, meal options, wine, and more! They also have a variety of water toys that were free to use as guests. We had paid for a kayak rental but ended up skipping it in favor of using theirs and being near our site. They also have a beautiful community fire pit with firewood and a large propane grill that is open use. We got it to ourselves on the last night of the trip and it really made for some special memories. All in all in was a wonderful trip and we'll be making this an annual trip.
We had an amazing weekend! The manager was fantastic. She was super friendly and helpful. Our camper was clean and cozy. If you want beautiful sunrises and sunsets hang out at the pier. We will definitely make this trip again at the end of October for our vacation.
