The staff are always incredibly accommodating. It can be a pricey stay, however, we come multiple times a year. The campground and staff are the best. The water is beautiful. We promise you won't be disappointed. We love the gang at association Island at Henderson!
Amazing sunrise & sunset views! From arrival to departure, we had a great stay. Kids loved the playground, lake, bounce pad, pool, etc. I suggest camp ground develop a policy of no political flags. People come to Association Island to enjoy the peace & tranquility. Having individuals drive around camp all weekend with their hate flag was ridiculous.
I can’t stress enough how GREAT the service and staff are on this property!! We decided at the last minute that we would like to find a place that we could try to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Cathy or Kathy was so sweet on the phone. She did everything that she could to help us find the perfect site. Upon arrival, she was SO friendly! My husband went in to check us just as they were closing while I waited in our van. She even came out and brought some additional paperwork for us to sign and greeted me with the biggest smile.😊 Her son Eric escorted us to our site and was super friendly and courteous. We forgot to bring food so he told us about the restaurant and the two workers were just as wonderful. After getting food, we got back to our beautiful waterfront site and found another site that seemed a little better positioned facing North. I found Eric and he immediately contacted his manager (this was like close to 8pm and the resort office closed at 6pm). Eric and his manager could have easily said that they were closed but instead his manager fired up her computer and made the switch for us! Eric then took us to our new site. it was just so nice to chat with him. I can’t tell you how wonderful the staff is here. The sites and grounds were all recently renovated. Everything was beautiful and immaculate! Thank you so much SunOutdoors Association Island!
This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly, it’s clean and very quiet all day and night. The views from the bay and lake are spectacular and we’ve already booked our trip for 2025.
Beautiful place, excellent location, very relaxing. Staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend spending the extra and getting a waterfront site. I read some complaints that sites were narrow however the site is at the back facing the water where they give you an extremely generous area. Maybe not a place little kids would love but ours are adults and we all enjoyed the campground. Would definitely return.
