Customer Reviews
The location was peaceful and beautiful with lake access. Super walkable and level sites. We were there at the end of September and it was very quiet. It was a bit odd that the office was never open and we never spoke with anyone at the park. Overall it was a great place to stay and the lake was beautiful.
We stayed in a cabin, bit odd just a cabin in the middle of a parking lot. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and the beach had a lot of muck and algae. The pool was nice and it's a great location but in no way worth the price for the cabin.
We took a last minute camping trip here. It was kind of expensive for what it was. Our site was not great and our picnic table there was broken and not usable. Should have a better table for what you pay here. It was nice that they have their own private beach but when the website says dog friendly I would have thought I could take my dog to the beach sadly dogs were not allowed. I didn't see that you could not online anywhere. We then had the power go out at the campground and after I had check all of my stuff on my trailer called to see if it was just our box. They sounded annoyed that I called and acted like it happens all the time and would come back on in a couple of hours. Also many of the times on different check in papers and signs throughout are contradicting. One says one time for checkout another says something else. Same with times for leaving stuff at the beach.
We stayed at the RV Sites along with multiple family members foot a group reunion. Steve and all the staff were so professional, helpful & friendly to work with. We reserved the pavilion for family meals and had a wonderful time all around. Beaches did get crowded but not so much that we could not enjoy the waterfront. Everyone staying seemed very family friendly and it was relaxing. Lots of shade at the RV sites, easy access to hookups and picnic table nearby. Great place! Thanks
Do not stay here if you plan on camping in a tent. There are no fire pits or fires allowed. This is great for anyone in an RV that has all the amenities already in there RV. They do provide grills but it does not give that camping feel. The tent sites are right next to a beach hotel and this definitely feels like it should be an RV park only. The beach access is great but that it all. It just feels like a day at the beach rather than a camping trip. If you’re looking for a camping feel, stick to the KOA down the road.
