Such an amazing place to stay! We rented out a tent site during the Oceans Calling festival and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff from the time we got there until the time we left was so kind and attentive. The showers and bathrooms were clean, and the shuttle too and from ocean city was perfect! We will definitely be back in the future.

This is NOT traditional camping! Don't come here looking for an outdoor adventure. It's a bit overcrowded but everyone was very friendly! Our neighbors helped us set up the tent. I really appreciated it. But the noise went on into the night. I'm in a tent, BUT I can hear the cars and golf carts go by. That was awkward. The beach is nearby, there are a lot of family activities around. The kids loved it. I couldn't wait to go home lol. But it wasn't bad. Just wasn't camping.

While the location of this campground is great, the overall experience was disappointing. The bathrooms and showers were filthy, and it's obvious they aren't cleaned often enough. On multiple occasions, there was no toilet paper, and I frequently noticed trash and messes in the bathrooms that remained uncleaned for nearly 24 hours. This proves they don't prioritize cleanliness, which is unacceptable considering the high prices they charge. Since we were camping in a camper van, clean showers and toilets were essential, but unfortunately, they didn't meet even the most basic standards of hygiene. Additionally, the campground was far from quiet. Teens were racing around on scooters and golf carts, blasting loud music until midnight. As a family, we understand that kids need to have fun, but there should be rules in place to ensure safety and peace for all campers. To make matters worse, the campground store thought it was a brilliant idea to sell cap guns. The sound of cap guns going off became part of the nightly background noise, sometimes until midnight. Cap shells were scattered everywhere—on bathroom floors, roads, and even the basketball court. This place is out of control, and it's clear that management needs to step in and take action. For the price they charge, they should prioritize cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a peaceful environment for all guests.

This is a company that does not do right by their clients. Their office made an error and did not process my cancelation request I made 30 days in advance. Now they claim they have no record of my cancellation and are keeping our deposit even though they could check their phone records and see I did call them to cancel when I said I did. The front desk supervisor Ashly Milne would not even call me to discuss as I requested multiple times. She preferred to insinuate I never cancelled. As a front desk supervisor I would think speaking with the customers would be ordinary However, if you simply don't care about your customers you will hide behind an email. Not sure if this is the culture at Sun Outdoors but I will not be spending my money at their properties going forward. I truly miss the old Castaways management. This property has gone down hill. I'm sure we will see some lackluster reply from them below my review soon...

The location of this campground cannot be beat. It's a short drive to OCMD. The campsites are good size and it looks like they have plenty of amenities. The bathrooms were less than desired. They were generally clean enough although there always seemed to be a little bit of trash on the floor. The showers were what got me. They are the hold the button for water kind of showers. I understand (and appreciate) saving water, but give us a couple of minutes of running water before shutting off. These showers instantly stop when you let go of the button. Very annoying. I am also concerned about expectations on the staff. That is, the woman who checked us just experienced a loss in her immediate family that day and was expected to finish her shift. Management should have stepped in here and covered her shift, because that's just what you do. I would return to this campground, but mainly because of it's location to OCMD.
