We have camped here several times and simply love it. The location is fantastic, the park is immaculate and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a short drive from SFV where we live but far enough to feel like we are having a getaway.
This place was staged with friendly staff at front desk, but we did not interact with other staff. We found RV resort via Web search and thought RV spaces were $80 but turned out to be $107 which seemed high for off season plus place was probably only at 25% capacity. Facility was clean and well maintained including pool, hot tub, and shower facilities. Our firepit was full of broken bottles and intact bottles (what moron does that?) which should have been cleaned out prior to our arrival. There's some train noise and roadway noise, but we had a peaceful night and morning. Only spent one night. Only 3 stars bc of trash in firepit and high price. Nice facility though.
What a wonderful experience! Claire, Cyan, and Atlas were a god send since we had just come from a horrible experience at Pacific Dunes Ranch and RV just up the road. Due to some issues at Pacific Dunes with our reservation, we were forced to find a place for the week. When I spoke to Claire, she was very helpful and got me in right away. We ended up getting in late since this was unplanned, but the staff was very helpful, and checking in was seamless. This is the 2nd Sun Outdoors park we've stayed, and we've had nothing but a great experience at both.
We booked a reservation for a visit in 2025, a couple months after booking they canceled the reservation because someone wanted to reserve the entire campground. We were incredibly disappointed and had no choice but to cancel our trip. For the fees they charge you would expect better service.
Stayed here for 14 days Prices vary significantly depending on the day as seen in photos. PROs pool and hot tub. Showers. Full hookups. Prices in shop not high. Office staff was nice. CONs sewage smell most days here. Rats and mice running around pool deck getting into full garbage cans in pool area. Road noise which is to be expected being so close to highway. If driving to the beach you pay $10 to park. Ground maintenance crew had no consideration blowing leaves and dust directly at me as I was in the dog run. The sewer issue was said to be a new thing but as I read through the reviews it was an issue three years ago. First week we were here they didn’t empty our trash can when asked the staff said it was taken out daily. I watched a pickup truck with trash drive by ours and the neighboring cans without pulling them. Birds were making a mess of the garbages on the ground. The only reason for more than one is the office crew were receptive to criticism and gave us a small refund for the inconvenience.
