Sun Retreats Fort Myers Beach

I’d say around 1/3 of this park are tiny homes/small double wides. The other 2/3 are RV lots. We stayed in our RV. This is a great community. Everyone is super friendly. Staff, home owners and guests. Super clean grounds. Quiet atmosphere. Very dog friendly. Excellent dog park and walking areas. People actually clean up after their pets here, unlike a lot of places we’ve camped. Highly recommend this campground to RVers and anyone looking for a nice retirement/snowbird home for a reasonable price in an excellent area.

I have been a 7/5 resident at the Sun Retreats Fort Myers Beach for over 15 years. This park is more than an rv park it’s a community. We have had six managers during my time. Mrs. Campbell the current manager is by far the best that we have had in my 15 years. She’s made a remarkable difference and improvement in her short time. The park looks great as it nears the completion of its renovation after hurricane Ian. I give it and Mrs. Campbell 5 stars.

We try to always go to Sun Outdoors and are traveling for the next 12 months and unsure if we will seek out any further Sun Retreats. We were treated horribly by the management. Too much to type but the manager basically questioned my husband's moral compass by saying "we can pull the cameras to see what was said".. he said "please do so and let's look together" then she refused and 'dismissed him' from the office. He is such a kind soul and was trying to help the next person checking in to our site but they are sooo rude and nasty. We also got several calls asking us what site we were on, when we were checking out, and twice called to say we owed extra money and when we called back after hearing the messages they denied calling..No one knew anything...could have dealt with that but the nastiness was the worst. We are very quiet and very easy going and keep our site immaculate. We bother no one...but this was over the top in the rudeness category!! Take the warning and book elsewhere!

Newly renovated with great activities for everyone! We had a full hookup site - newly renovated & my kiddos loved the pool & shed full of new yard games- pickle ball, bocce, snook ball, and indoor games too!

Love this place. Has tons of amenities and the employees and management are very friendly and helpful. Each site is well taken care of and spacious.
