Growing up in rural California, I longed for a place that reminded me of where I grew up. I found it here. As you can tell the horses are super fat, healthy, and happy. They are all in big pastures and get to run and play. I don’t personally own a rv, yet, so I normally stay in the bunkhouse which is always clean and never booked up. Some spring nights I choose to stay in the tent. We have campfires and roast marshmallows. You can hear all the wildlife; coyotes and owls! The camp hosts are always helpful, and have even helped me change my flat tire. I am so glad I found a place that brings me peace and quiet in such a busy world.
A great place to camp, hang out with old friends and make new ones as well. We love coming to the ranch to relax - it feels like coming home. Whether you want to go horseback riding, fish or just hang out, there is something for everyone. I love hanging out at the barn, my husband enjoys sitting under the trees, relaxing with a book, and the grandkids love the playground and pool.
This place is a hidden little spot nestled in Temecula Valley. It is surrounded by Palomar mountain and the views are breathtaking. To get here you drive down a dirt road, yes… if you feel like it takes forever just keep going. This campground is very family oriented and kids can be seen riding bikes and hanging out together at the pond fishing. Rv storage and horseback riding are included in the deal. My daughter loves riding and feeding the animals. I highly recommend this place, especially if you like the quiet atmosphere.
I have been coming to Sundance Meadows since in started in 1980s and it’s never been a disappointment. We have now had four generations of our family there and it keeps getting better and better. Each one of our generations have experienced the time they needed to enjoy life that includes a ranch where they can ride their bike, fish, hike, and ride horses. We have experienced campfires at night and love the family atmosphere. Our latest generation, our great grandkids, love the kids playground( they have the fun toys that are not allowed in other playgrounds (merry go rounds and huge swings)! They love feeding the horses and want to know each horse’s name and love hanging out of the barn. Looking forward to coninuing making memories at the ranch!
We've had our membership for more than 15 years now, the first 5 years it was great Mr. Patrick made sure that all guests were welcome and held all members and site staff accountable. He is no longer the person in charge and his successors have shown to be irresponsible, prejudiced and outright rude. Our leashed dog was attacked by a ranch dog, our guests were made to feel unwelcome and Jean has been rude on multiple occasions. The place has potential, but unfortunately the current leadership shows poor hospitality, no understanding of the diversity that they live in and zero customer service skills and lacks structure. The facilities are great for relaxing, but the staff just doesn't measure up.
