The 115 acres encompass a mix of wooded areas, providing natural shade, and open grassy sites, offering flexibility for various camping setups. A defining feature of the campground's environment is the presence of five lakes, which contribute significantly to its aesthetic appeal and recreational offerings. These lakes are utilized for swimming and fishing, creating a serene backdrop for relaxation and a focal point for aquatic activities. While it is a large park, the internal roads are generally well-maintained. The terrain is largely flat, making it accessible and easy to navigate for RVs and golf carts. Although situated off the beaten path, nestled amidst farm crop fields, the campground creates a self-contained community atmosphere, particularly on weekends when it comes alive with activity. The presence of trees provides some shade, and many sites offer ample space for slide-outs, ensuring comfort for larger RVs.
As a leading offering in the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category, Sunny's Campground provides a wide array of services and goods to meet the diverse needs of its guests. The campground offers 800 campsites, with a significant portion allocated to seasonal campers, indicative of its strong community appeal. However, it also maintains a number of sites for nightly and weekend camping, including approximately 39 pull-through sites that are ideal for larger RVs.

It has been a while since I have taken advantage of my lifetime Passport America membership. 🛂This property popped up on my route. 🛣️ It's ginormous!😱 This might be the largest campground property I have ever stayed at! They have 800 sites here. 80 of them are for overnighters 👍🏻 Definitely a must have a golf cart or at least an e-bike in a property this large. The streets are very wide and quite level and free of any types of bumps or potholes. They are quite nice, except for the noise from the gravel surface and the dust. They are so noisy you can hear a bicycle coming from 100 yards away. So every time a golf cart or a car comes by it will be noticeable.🙉 This property is very much a party place. 🥳 It is quite active on weekends. They have a food truck and a small grocery store on site!😳 There are some very choice sites here 🤩 but you would have to be in the right spot at the right time in order to get one if it became available. Most of the sites are too close together or out in direct sunlight. Some are on the main outside street. But what is unusual and very nice here is many of them are on the water. And they also have a forest section!🌲🌲 And a real full size golf course!🏌🏻♂️⛳
I’ve been coming to Sunny’s for 12 years now I love fishing here and swimming I always bring my friends so they can get the experience too! I absolutely love meeting new people and making money out there and seeing everyone’s smiles I have like walking around and going on the paddle boats!
Stayed one night while traveling. Would stay again. Very nice campground. VERY LARGE! Lots of campers are full-timers or campers where people keep their campers and come for a weekend or week. Everything is kept very clean and maintained. It was easy access from the interstate and near a town where we were able to go eat.
My grandma and grandpa go here and have a trailer up there. Although you have to pay and have a pass to get in, it's really cool up there. They have various events on Halloween like costume contest, trick or treating, and a dance place. It's very fun and you can also drive around and see all the decorations. As far as I know, people are really friendly and nice. Would recommend if you have a trailer. Also there is a pond with fish but if you go fishing you have to throw the fish back in. Next to the pond and other place there are 3 parks or play grounds.
Great atmosphere, plenty to do. Prices are very reasonable. Was our first time and Sunnys. We were visiting friends, They treated us like family we will def. go bck‼️
