Stayed here mid-week in late August. Only 2 or 3 other campers in the whole site. Great location but no soap or mirrors in bathroom. Many sites had ant hills which created some anxiety with our group. We stayed in site 3 which was perfect for a 12’ tent and group of 8 people. Close to water and bathrooms.

If your looking to be close to the general store this is perfect. Close to the northern entrance to the park. But being close to the entrance there’s a lot of people. Not for me I like more room in the sites and more privacy. A lot of people walk through the sites with no common courtesy.

Great camping spot with water and toilets, but it is a little crowded (very popular), though it is very convenient that you can buy supplies at the store across the street.

Nice place to camp, but your neighbor is a little too close each other. I enjoyed the nature. Bathroom is clean

The spaces are extremely small and absolutely no privacy. Sites are literally tent by tent set up right next to each other. Couldn't even use our fire pit because the space is so small. Not only small but at a very steep slope. There were no rangers to be seen. You can hear the cars on the hwy. It was just the worst camping experience of my life. I have literally gone camping every year of my life and this was absolutely the worst experience. I will never camp at Kings Canyon again. We left 1 day early. There were ant holes everywhere. It was just not a good experience.

Wow. What a view from the top of the hill of the sunset and after dark, the lights of Fresno down in the valley! 1/8 mile to amenities at Grant Gove Village; the post office, visitors center, store and restaurant. Restaurant is great for viewing the meadow and wildlife from the veranda while eating lunch or dinner. Most campsites are sloped though so view photos and individual campsite reviews. Lots of trails and there’s paved roads through the camp. Deer are frequently here.
