A little dingy but good price. Breakfast was a bit dodgy with old batter for the waffles coming out a bit black and old which didn't look like it should be eaten. I guess you get what you pay for.
I booked this hotel a week in advance on Hotels.com. I selected the “pay at property” option to pay upon arrival. After traveling 24 hours from the east coast, Harinder (the property manager) canceled my room when I was one hour away. He called screaming “GIVE ME CREDIT CARD NOW OR I CANCEL YOUR ROOM! WE ARE VERY BUSY!!” This means someone else arrived and asked for a room, and instead of honoring our contract and my reservation, he forfeited my room to someone else. When I arrived shortly after the call, he said “nothing I can do move along.” So after the 6 hour flight and 6 hour drive, and before a 3 day hike, I was left without a room. Do not stay here or expect your reservation to be honored. The place is also a dump, so it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We ended up finding a room at the Elms Lodge, and it was great.
No hot water in the shower. Toilet didn't function properly. After maybe six steps my socks were very dirty. Missing baseboard. Fresh paint wouldn't hurt.
Landed in bishop around midnight super tired and desperately looking for somewhere to stay but nothing in our price range was available last minute. Super 8 definitely came in clutch. The rooms were a little dated but passed when I checked for bedbugs! Reminds me of a room id have in elementary school with the colour scheme (in an endearing way) slept like a baby. Only things I'd change is the shower heads, bath mats are getting a little old, and so are the mattresses but again mattresses were perfectly clean. Stayed in room 209 Thank you for a good night's sleep 🥰
Other than the room being DIRTY but BED BUGS had to top it off, this room is gross, smells bad and the bathroom looking NASTY the man at the front desk wasn’t that nice either, I have to say I would rather sleep in my car. And the best of all some of the lights flickered and after reading some of the other reviews I decided to not call the front desk because I am not paying for something I did not break. I wish my room was the worst because if someone had it worse then me I, and my family should be praying for them.
