Well the staff tried to charge us a cleaning fee. $40! We left on Sunday and they charged us on Wednesday…Whoever I spoke to was very rude with foul language and he refused to explain or try to be civil. I have disputed the charge. Just be careful because they are sneaky and messy. Besides staff and the hotel giving us the issue they did the City of Canyon is lovely and the vibe was great! I had a good time and will be returning. I highly suggest booking at the Motel 6 next door.
Fairly average motel, however the AC / heat units are smaller than your average under the window ones, and there is no mini fridge. You still have a microwave and coffee pot though. The AC / heat unit seems to work just fine, it's below freezing outside so I have only used the heater mode. Don't expect to have the clerk behind the counter be an American.
Keep scrolling. Made reservation a couple of weeks in advance. Got a confirmation. Got a reminder text the day before. After driving 12 hours, found the property closed. Still haven't received a refund 2 weeks later. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else.
This was a nice hotel for the price. I think it was a good value. Our room was on the first floor and it was still pretty quiet. The room was clean and adequate for our 2 night stay. Staff checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was minimal but there are plenty of restaurants nearby to get something more substantial. I would stay here again.
Fairly easy check-in. Upon entering the building, we noticed the heat, and our room was worse. The air was completely off, and the room was scorching. We did inform the clerk, and he said it was just hot on that side of the building. 🤦♀️ We had to go outside for an hour to allow the room to cool. We hoped for a relaxing evening watching TV with our feet up after a day of travel. The room had cooled to tolerable, but the TV only worked sporadically. It would randomly shut off. We informed the clerk the next morning, but he had very limited English. Very disappointing Wyndym.
