The rooms were remodeled with a new bath tub and commode. They removed the carpets in the rooms. The best thing I liked about this hotel is that they have installed a rod to hang out clothes unlike other hotels. It has a thermostat controlled air-conditioning unit, small refrigerator and oven. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is very limited. A door mat would be a great addition. Controlling the right temperature for the water in the bath tub is a little difficult.
Room was clean. The bed was comfy. I didn't have high expectations for breakfast because of the reviews but it could have been worse.They had breakfast bars, granola bars, some tangerines, coffee, orange juice, mini Donuts , danishes and some biscottis. The bathroom was cold but we just kept the fan on and kept the door closed . Overall we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay. Pet friendly so we were happy.
Comfortable and clean place to stay. The rooms are really nicely updated which was a plus. Location is really close to the main shopping area of Fort Bragg and close to the beautiful ocean parks nearby. Definitely recommend. Only area for improvement would be nice to have a door mat for the room as the area can get muddy and want to avoid tracking dirt all over the room.
Rooms were clean, but it is definitely a place just to stop and rest. There are no frills here. I did feel pretty safe here. We parked right in front of our room. And it was a weekday, so it was pretty quiet. The day I checked in the front desk, person, literally said three words to me, your ID, and credit card. That was IT. Check-out girl was a little more pleasant
This place was a lot of perfect. Taking a road trip pause, about to head into 3 days of camping the redwoods and what we needed was a clean room, with plenty of hot water for the shower and a working ice machine. Bonus, close to a grocery store (Safeway) where we could restock (and they had propane canisters!). This place nailed it. We're tall and the king bed was comfortable and the room not cramped. Car was safe in a close spot in a well lit lot. Again, just what we needed for ~$80. Thanks Super 8!
